As I have reviewed Clinique's offering of CC Cream - review link, I thought it would only be fair to share a slightly more budget friendly version which is set to launch in early April.
Max Factor's CC Cream will be available in three shades: Fair, Natural and Tanned which is a little disappointing I really had hoped for a more extensive colour palette but perhaps the three shades will be a good match for most - only time will tell.
Max Factor's CC Cream promises to be an intensive colour correction , containing active ingredients that fuse together to brighten the complexion and give smoother looking skin. Max Factor's CC Cream will contain an SPF 10 as well as foundation pigments which provide high but natural coverage. The skin care element comes in the form of natural extracts including cucumber water, rose hip and sea buckthorn, and glycerin, which provides high levels of hydration to leave skin feeling moisturised and in turn soft and smooth.
I have high hopes for this version of a CC Cream as Max Factor do have some pretty good bases and it is very seldom that any of their products let me down. Look out for a review this coming April once it launches and I am able to lay hands on a tube!
Max Factor CC Cream will retail for £9.99/30ml and will be available through most Max Factor stockists such as Superdrug and Boots.
oh nice, I agree about their bases. Their latest 'all day flawless' is a really good budget foundation so I'm definitely interested in trying this x
ReplyDeleteI have thought about purchasing that so if you say it is good I may just have to cave ;) x
DeleteI really love L'oreal's CC Cream offering!
ReplyDeleteI have the purple 'anti-dullness' shade and it's amazingggg x
I have it too :) and don't like it at all but in fairness I like full coverage which it isn't x
DeleteApparently this CC cream is just the Xperience foundation repackaged! I'm still intrigued though :)
ReplyDeleteUgh that is a cop out if it is! x
DeleteI was never really into BB creams as I always wore a tinted moisturer but I'm liking the CC cream concept as they may help liven my skin xxx

I'm not a huge bb fan but have to say I do enjoy most of the CC creams I have tries thus far x
DeleteI actually am rather partial to BB creams, but often wish they were a little more intense in the coverage area. I am looking forward to your review on this product, you have made me yearn for the Clinique number already.
ReplyDeleteMay i ask a quick question? I know this is not actually about this post, rather it is about a post you wrote some weeks ago, but was not sure if you would still check the comments on those. I was wondering if you knew exactly when the Revlon Baby Kiss cream blush stick fandanglies you mentioned are actually going to launch? I am desperately wanting to give them a try.
Thank you so much.
Hi Emily :) yes I have high hopes too but if it is indeed a foundation re-packaged I will be a little angry!
DeleteThey are called Baby Sticks I thought they had kiss in the title too :)
Rumor has it they are set to launch tomorrow but I found them in my local Superdrug today and managed to wangle two out of the three shades.
I'll pop up a review tomorrow but I do warn you that they are super sheer x
Oh, that is fantastic. If they are sheer, they sound perfect for the days when I barely wear make up. I look forward to your review!
DeleteThank you x
Xperience foundation repackaged, they've actually been quite transparent about it as far as I know - mega band wagon jumping! The foundation was marketed as full coverage with lightweight feel - clung to dry patches I didn't even know I had [v. v. oily!] and SO pink, with hardly any coverage...give it a miss if you're pale!
ReplyDeleteThat is utter non-sense isn't it! I really hope it turns out that it is a different formula otherwise I'd be so let down. I adore Max Factor but that is just lazy isn't it? I have a very similar skin type and as you can probably see quite golden in tone so I may have to skip. Really appreciate the heads up though :) x
DeleteBB, CC's? Whats next, DDs? Crazy haha, I might give this a go though I really liked the Xperience foundation so if its anything like that I might like it too x
ReplyDeleteHaha what would DD stand for Dullness De-Activator? I've probably just given a brand a new idea haven't I haha? A few have said it is just said foundation but re-packaged? Not cool if so! x
DeleteI'm trying the Annabelle one at the moment, it's a Canadian brand! It's also budget friendly :)
ReplyDeleteWonderful post...I like your blog.^^
ReplyDeleteLovely greets Nessa
hopefully it will be availale in Indonesia. Cant wait to try this out
