E.L.F Studio Bronzer in Golden Photo

One last E.L.F review to finish the day off and this time around it is one of their most loved products: E.L.F Studio Bronzer in which I plumped for the shade Golden.
If there's one product by E.L.F I seem to hear or see for that matter popping up on various beauty blogs and channels it is their Studio Bronzer's being the curious cat that I am I simply had to try one out for myself.

Again much like the E.L.F Studio Blushes the E.L.F Studio Bronzer's come presented in a similar style - matte black casings that do slightly resemble the infamous NARS packaging.Unlike the blushes the bronzers do not have a transparent window to allow you to peek inside but they do feature a good sized mirror which is great for on the go applications.
Like I said in an earlier post the packaging is slightly cheap but I'd rather a company skimped here than on the formula.

All in E.L.F offer three shade variants of their Studio Bronzer truthfully I didn't put much thought into my purchase and went for Golden, which in hindsight was a tad silly as it is of course the most shimmer based of the trio. Next time I place an order Warm and Cool will make the cut.
Anyway shade woes aside E.L.F Studio Bronzer in Golden comprises of four segments each of which are large enough to be used on their own and given the golden brown/bronze colour scheme I'm willing to bet it would double up nicely as an eye palette.
Truthfully this is not the best bronzer for medium to deep skin types as when all four shades are combined the end shade is a light peachy golden bronze which is more comparable to a highlight than anything else.
On lighter skin tones I would imagine this to offer a natural but radiant warm flush of colour but due to the shimmer not idea for contouring.
Also don't be fooled by the Golden title each shade is most certainly cool in tone as is the final result.

I have to declare just how soft and silken all four shades are to the touch, much more so than the blushes in the same line which is a little odd?
Each shade is fairly well pigmented but are a little prone to product fall out and can lean slightly chalky on deeper skin tones but other than that no complaints in terms of formulation.
I think for £3.75 the E.L.F Studio Bronzers are a complete snip as not only do you have an overall bronzer but you have four sizable pans of colour which can be used both on the face and eyes.
The wear time of the bronzer line seems to be on par with the E.L.F blushes at around 6 hours on primed but oily skin but given the price point I do think you'd struggle to find a better deal.
