I'm rather guilty of rubbing my eyes during the day and often feel towards the end of the day and first thing in the morning that my eye area can be tight and a little itchy, with spring on its way I thought I best source some cooling eye products for Hayfever season and that has lead me to Clarins Eye Contour Gel.
Clarins’ Eye Contour Gel is a cooling, non-oily gel that instantly soothes the delicate skin of the eye area and helps to minimises the look of puffiness and dark circles. Best described it is a refreshing, hydrating yet quickly absorbed eye gel that is perfect for use at anytime of the day even before make-up application, in-fact I find it to make a great base for the under eye area to prevent make-up from gathering in fine lines and creases.
I like to use this first thing in the morning to awaken and fresh the skin around my eyes and as mentioned as a light hydrating base but my favourite use for this as soon as I get in for the evening is to quickly wipe of my make-up and slick on a quick blob of this under my eyes and relax.
If you are a fan of a quick cooling treat that hydrates I really do think you will enjoy this and I know for sure that come Hayfever season that this will be a complete and utter savoir for tight, itchy irritated eyes!

This seems to be a really great product which I'd like to try out. But at first I have to use up my soap & glory supereyes supereyes..it's a similiar eye gel but it hasn't any cooling effect.

This is something that I will definitely need to look into! My eyes can get quite tight and itchy and, as you mentioned hayfever season, it is likely to get worse!

Do you use it only under the eye?
ReplyDeleteI like the cooling effect. I'll see if I find a sample at the counter :)
Wow love these photos Adrienne! This product looks amazing too, I'm a fellow sufferer of hayfever as well as a tear duct issue which means I spend most of my day looking like I'm crying so most of my concealer rubs off :( I'll definitely look into this though for the upcoming hayfever season!
