Having oily/combination skin means I can not slap on any moisturiser and call it a day,
in the recent months my skin has calmed down and is as close to normal as it will ever be
but even then I would still say I'm slightly more oily skinned than your average Joe or Josephine!
Being such a huge fan of Balance Me's eye cream I turned to the brand when my last oil free moisturiser
ran out, I needed a change and wanted a brand I could rely on.
Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser has been blended to soothe, calm and hydrate the skin
and is a light serum like fluid that will not overwhelm those who have excess sebum.
Much like the other Balance Me products I have tested this shares the same light citrus type scent,
that is pleasant and not detectable after a few moments have passed.
All I require of a moisturiser is that it adds a little hydration to my skin and doesn't break me out
which is often easier said than done but Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser does exactly just that
all the while calming my skin, I had a little reaction to a facial mask which turned my skin red
and I found that Balance Me Balancing Face Moisturiser settled my skin and reduced the redness.
It is also a great mosituriser to use before foundation as it leaves the skin matte providing a perfect
base to apply make-up on top off and it aids control of excess oil oil production throughout the day.
Even if you have normal skin I recommend this light moisturiser particularly when hot environments
are involved as it really does all it says and more, if it contained an SPF it would be my holy grail
daily moisturiser and that is not something I throw around lightly.

This sounds great and sounds like it would have been perfect for the holiday I had just been on, wish I heard about it then!

I have combination skin too which is really hard to maintain since the requirements keep changing from season to season. This sure sounds like a good moisturizer. I think I'll check it out.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the review.

PrettyGloss - makeup, beauty & a lil gibberish
I'm using up quite a large sample of this at the moment and although it's hydrating it leaves a residue immediately after application around the edges of my face x
ReplyDeleteThis sounds like the most perfect product!
ReplyDeleteWill definitely be investing. Good to hear your skin has calmed to normal.
I wish mine would!
