I recall when Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy launched a few years ago (I think it was 2008?)
and everyone around me went a little nuts for the light floral scent yet I just couldn't see the fuss
despite going through a phase of snapping up pretty much every Anna Sui scent in sight.
Back then I thought it was too sweet, sickly and simply put unbearable...I recall thinking this
must be what Paris Hilton smells like, no idea why or how I came to such conclusion
but I did and couldn't understand why anyone would want to wear such scent.

Fast forward a few years later and while absent mildly spritzing on various scents in Duty Free
I tested out Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy and suddenly understood all the fuss.
Perhaps with age your sense of smell does change or I am just a fickle little lady (both are probably true).

Scent Category : Floral Fruity Gourmand
Top Notes: Black currant, Mandarin orange
Middle Notes: Honeysuckle, Gardenia, jasmine
Base notes: Amber, sandalwood, praline, caramel and vanilla

Truthfully I can't detect any of the notes in singular form and I'm known to have nose of a blood hound
but combined they blend to form a beautiful, light fresh yet fruity floral scent that does remind me
of warm sunny days spent lounging by the pool.
Yes such warm days are a long, long way off but with Juicy Couture's Viva La Juicy you can spray it on
generously and pretend that it isn't minus seven outside!

At the moment you can pick up the Viva La Juicy gift set* from Llyods Pharmacy for £26.25
which includes a 30ml bottle of the Eau de parfum and a matching body lotion (125ml) - link
