Lip Crayons - chubby pencils that are more of a lipstick than a typical gloss are everywhere
and the recent addition to my bulging make-up bag is Soap and Glory's Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick in Nudist which is more glossy than my typical daily lip choice but my gosh am I hooked.
I put my hands up, I'm quite the Soap and Glory Convert.

Packaging wise Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks won't win any prizes,
I actually find Soap and Glory's make-up packaging a little boring compared to their pretty pink bath products, wouldn't it have been nice to have some cool pink retro make-up packaging...like the Pink Ladies
for Grease? Nope just me then?
That aside the Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks are fairly practical with a screw up mechanism
so there is no need to worry about sharpening and as the casing is plastic and sturdy the chances of you damaging the product with daily wear and tear are slim.

At the moment there is three shade options within the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Stick range: Fushia-Ristic (pink), Nudist (nude) and Plum Jam (plum).
I have two out of the three Fushia-Ristic and Nudist and the one that has caught me off guard is Nudist,
normally I go for pinky brown nude shades that are much deeper than this shade.
Yet Nudist is my current go to shade, I know I can slick on the light honey tone and it will go with anything
and help me look a little more polished, less windswept and interesting.
I do have to state that all three shades are fairly sheer and do not offer full opaque coverage
as the name suggests they are akin to a lip gloss and in turn just lightly tint the lips, allowing your natural
lip colour to shine through rather than masking it.

As regular readers will know lip glosses are not really my thing, I am a lipstick gal through and through
mainly because I find the sticky texture of glosses irritating and my idea of a good time does not include picking my hair stuck to my lips...fun,fun,fun!
Luckily the Soap and Glory Sexy Mother Pucker Gloss Sticks are not sticky and feel more balm like
once on the lips yet they do provide a high sheen finish with a light wash of colour.
As you can see I have a little dry patch on my lip and rather than cling to it, I feel it helps to disguise the fault
and add a little moisture to the area, all with a light vanilla scent.
In terms of wear these aren't the best with around an hour or so of lasting power before they give up the ghost but with it being a pencil style product it is really easy and convenient to top up the colour on the go!
