L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil - Review

Friday, December 21, 2012

I'm slowly but surely being won over with oil based products and I think the winning formula for me,
particularly when my face and body is involved is oil products that emulsify as soon as water comes into
contact with the oil substance.

With the combination of the chilly Scottish winter weather, layers and central heating my skin is not
at its best and often feels dry and uncomfortable, body butters do help a little but L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil is a complete god send and something I can see myself repurchasing over and over again.

L'Occitane Almond Shower Oil is of course an oil based shower product which you can use just as you
would a shower gel or apply to dry skin and rinse off, it is a great partner to dry body brushing.
Despite being an oil product it does foam ever so slightly, gently cleansing the skin and cocooning it
within a rich yet sweet Almond scent all the while dousing the skin in moisture.

If you are a little (okay a lot) lazy like myself and don't slather on a body butter or lotion quite as often
as you really should, then this should be your next purchase as it allows you to skip that step
every once in a while.
I also like to use this to shave my legs with as it prevents my skin from drying out and flaking
which a good number of shave gels tend to do.

Summed up: indulgent, luxuriously scented yet truly hydrating - a shower must have!
