I hate to start a post with a rant/moan but my lord am I struggling with these dark nights that seem to have just creeped up from nowhere, of course that is not true but none the less
where I live it is dark around half 4 in the afternoon and it is really getting me down.
I love the Autumn and Winter seasons (hello Halloween and Christmas) but the lack of light
is not all that fun...not that this has anything to do with this post but sometimes it is nice to vent haha!
Anyway on with what I plan on rotating into my stash this week...
FACE
Clinique Superbalanced Powder Bronzer
In the summer months I used this to contour but I have since switched over to cream sculpting products
(review to follow) and this has went unloved but as I plan on rocking a golden smoky eye look
this week I thought that perhaps this could be worn as a matte blush/bronzer with a pretty golden highlight.
MAC Whisper of Gilt Extra Dimension Skinfinish
I'm a little guilty of being swayed by pretty highlighters and this one is no exception and in my opinion
the must have product from the Glamour Daze collection.
Not only does it look show stopping in the pan but on the skin it is the most perfect light golden
ray of light and the formula is not to be sniffed at either.
I urge you to swatch this at your local MAC counter and bet you won't walk away empty handed.
EYES
Urban Decay Naked Palette
Oh hi there Urban Decay original Naked palette, long time no see old friend!
As you can probably guess it has been quite some time since I have reached for this palette of
beautiful bronze tones but Urban Decay's Vice Palette has made me fall in love with their formula
and the original naked palette offers the perfect shade selection for this time of year.
Bourjois Intuitive Liner
If like myself some days you find you don't want a lot of eye make-up but do want to look
awake and polished then this is the perfect addition to your make-up bag.
Basically it emphasises and deepens the lash line without being as obvious as a typical liquid liner.
LIPS
Clinique Chubby Stick in Woppin' Watermelon
With the release of the new intense Chubby Sticks on the horizon I have been craving my non- intense
versions as they moisturise and add a little hint of a tint of colour, great for make-up on the go.
I am counting down the days until the new shades hit the counters and predict mass ohhing and ahhing.
Being a very lucky lady I have sampled two of the new shades by my collection is itching for a few
more...perhaps something orange toned but we shall see.
Fushi Lip Balm
I am an avid user of Carmex and Blistex lip balm but I have ran out and rather than add to my bulging
make-up collection I rummaged through my stash and found this lovely thick balm that will see me through
the week hopefully without chapped lips.
Have you shopped your stash this week?
Great post, i really really want the naked pallette!:)

Whisper of Gilt looks amazing. There are a few products I haven't used in a while that I need to reuse. x
ReplyDeleteDo you get sent all the things you review? Could you state which things are sent for review and which things you actually pay for on your posts.
ReplyDeleteNope far from it, everything that is sent for review is marked as so with an astrix which is stated in my disclaimer blurb which is located in the right hand column, it is also mentioned in the blogs disclaimer in the top bar. Earlier posts have a sentence at the end which says "PR Sample" or something along those lines. If it doesn't have either then I paid for it.
DeleteI too have started reaching for my original NAKED again :-)
