Today I have woke up with a raging cold, I hate having the cold not because it makes me
miserable (which it does) but because I always loose my sense of smell and taste!
I guess it will come in handy tomorrow when I embark on Weight Watchers...gulp.
Anyway once more I have a small stash of products I want to re-introduce into my current daily
make-up routine so without further ado...
Face
L'Oreal Lumi Magique Foundation
In the summer months this was a firm favourite but it seems to have fallen by the way side,
last night I was clearing out and found a brand new un-opened bottle and as I have just finished
my current foundation I figured it couldn't have come along at a better time.
Smashbox Photo Finish Light Primer
I have been messing around with various primers but I think it is time to admit defeat
and go back to Smashbox's Photo Finish Light as my skin isn't dealing to well with all central heating.
Eyes
ELF Corrective Yellow Concealer
Other than lashing of this and YSL's Shocking Mascara (review soon) this is all I will be using,
when I have the cold my eyes stream like crazy so full eye make-up is just a waste of time.
Lips
MAC Fashion Nomad Mattene Lipstick
I so wish I bought a back up of this shade every time I open it I fall in love.
Fashion Nomad is a bright mix of red and orange yet it is not so bright that it looks out of place
now that we are in Autumn.
Cheeks
Catrice Blush Duo in Apricot Smoothie
I picked this up when visiting Palma earlier this year and haven't really used it
but when applied it reminds me a little of MAC's Ripe Peach which is long gone (please re-promote MAC) and works really well as a light every day peachy blush.
MUA Cream Blush in Bittersweet
As mentioned my skin is far from loving this season so I plan to use this under powder blushes
not only to help prolong wear but to hopefully warm up my typical coral/peach blushes
and make them a little more seasonably appropriate.
Have you shopped your stash this week?
Great shopping. I have this Catrice blush and I love it!:)
ReplyDeleteIt is such a lovely shade isn't it :)
Deleteloving whole shopping... MUA blusher is amazing
ReplyDeletethese are my favorite posts! I love my Smashbox primers!
ReplyDeleteThank you :) they are fab aren't they!
DeleteThat lippie looks gorge. Good luck with WW, I've been following it for 7 weeks now and lost over a stone. I've mostly found it ok but I fell off the wagon this weekend a bit.
ReplyDeleteMassive congrats on that, I lack will power so I'm not too optimistic but the belly has to go haha!
DeleteI haven't used lumi magique since the summer either, might have to give it another whirl! x
ReplyDeleteIt is definitely one of those foundations I associate with summer but it does a great job of perking up tired skin :)
Deletehmm, I like the blushes
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
DeleteLove a bit of a glow in the winter, so hurray for Lumi Magique. Catrice has redeveloped their blushes recently and has come out with a gorgeous shade named "Rosewood Forest". That's gorgeous for the fall!
ReplyDeleteOh that does sound beautiful! Sadly the UK doesn't stock Catrice so I'll have to wait quite some time before I get my hands on that.
DeleteGreat purchases! The MUA blush is really cute.
ReplyDeleteThank you Cherry :)
DeleteHow did that MUA blush turn out on your skin? It looks like a lovely color and I'm really into MUA recently.

For £2 you really can't go wrong :)
DeleteI haven't tried any of these products. Thanks for the information.
ReplyDeleteYou are so very welcome :)
DeleteI love the lumi magique but have no way of getting it to stay on my oily skin :( I powder and it just slides off! Any tips? xx

I always use UD De-Slick setting spray, a primer and a powder and it stays put but I know that is a lot of work so perhaps try a primer and then go from there?
DeleteI love shopping my stash, should do this more often. I would save so much money!
