As much as I adore candles and wax tarts (I really do) I can't get enough of reed diffusers at the moment.
The reason being unlike pot pourri that my cats have tried to eat in the past (they are slightly special)
and plug in house scents which make me nervous - I can't leave appliances plugged in when I am out,
reed diffusers can be left open forever and a day and other than perhaps being knocked over they are safe!
Next have recently launched four new scents that form "The Collection",
each scent is named after very famous and iconic cities : London, Paris, New York and Milan.
Each scent has a wide range of products that include home fragrance products such as candles,
reed diffusers as well as eau de perfumes and body cremes all of which are very affordable
not to mention the packaging is beyond slick, with a slight Gucci feel in my opinion.
Milan is an apple melon based scent that is somewhat similar to DKNY's Be Delicious,
a light green apple scent that is bright, cheery and coupled with light floral notes, resulting in the perfect day time scent to come home to after a long day.
What I like most is that it is noticeable but not overpowering or a scent that I can seem myself becoming
sick of but then again I do enjoy apple scents more than most.
So much so that I am going to pick up the candle and perfume from the Milan scent range.

I've never tried a diffuser but I love Next's home stuff (it's my favorite department of theirs!) so I might check theirs out for my own place :)

You really have to, they look so much more expensive than they are and really fill a room with a beautiful scent :)
Deletei am seeing this for the first time... thanks for posting
ReplyDeleteSo very welcome :)
DeleteI've developed this fear of lighting candles and have got rid of them all but I do miss the cosy scents. I wasn't sure what Reed diffusers were good to try but now I think I'll have a look at this collection. Would have gone for New York but I'm liking the lingering woody base described for Milan. :)
ReplyDeleteOh no I'm sorry to hear that :( these are a great way to do that or if you miss melting something you could try an electrical wax burner?
DeleteI love DKNY's Be Delicious. I may have to try this if it is similar.
ReplyDeleteIt is very, very similar :)
DeleteI have Paris and I absolutely love it! It's one of the only reed diffusers I have tried that I actually can smell when I walk into my living room! x
ReplyDeleteI agree, some can be a little weak can't they?
DeleteThe best I have used thus far is Next and Neom both do their job well :)
The new Next collection looks amazing! x
