Umberto Giannini have recently taken a foray into nail products and have launched 9 different designs
of nail wraps and 3 different designs of pre-decorated artificial nails
which all have a dark and very luxe appeal perfect for the Autumn/Winter seasons.
I was sent the Quilted variation of the nail wraps which have an almost PVC effect -
very shiny, black in colour with a criss cross textured pattern.
I do love black nails every now and then and have to admit that a textured effect is more than
alluring for those like myself who love the look of nail art but lack both patience and skill.
Each pack of Umberto Giannini Painted Lady Textured Nail Wraps contain 16 nail wraps
in 8 various sizes - I have fairly narrow child like nails and didn't find the sizes to be overwhelming
but I did find them rather tricky to apply and struggled to get them to stay in place
and then file/trim them to size.
However this is the first time in a long while I have had short nails and feel that this may
be a contributing factor as when I had long nails I found nail wraps a complete breeze to apply.
Yes these were tricky and not my best attempt but it is certainly something I would revisit
once my nails regain length and I must get my paws on a set of the artificial nails
my inner Lady Gaga demands them!
Do you struggle with nail wraps?

ReplyDeleteNail wraps remind me of those plastic stick on nails that come in children's pretend makeup kits. Not a fan, sorry.
ReplyDeleteLove this, think I might try them! x

I have this exact set on now. Struggled so much getting them on, needed to touch up with nail glue. How long should I expect them to stay on for?
