Around a week ago while picking up some groceries in Morrisons ( I lead such a glamorous life)
I idly strolled past the Collection 2000 stand and noticed some new products - a primer
and a fixing spray and couldn't resist popping both in my basket.
Both I get on with the review can anyone explain to me why Collection 2000 said they
were re-branding as Collection yet every new item still comes tagged as Collection 2000?
Have I missed something?

Collection 2000 Primed and Ready Smoothing Make-Up Primer £3.99 via Boots - link

"Primed & ready is an easy to blend make-up base that minimises pores."

This is a liquid/gel formula that is extremely thick but does glide on nicely
and leaves the skin looking matte with a soft velvet finish.
However it is very much silicone based and that can often play havoc with certain skin types,
personally I have encountered no problems with this primer or any other silicone based product
but if you have experienced break-outs/irritations with the likes of Benefit The Porefessional
then this product is not for you.

Primed and Ready claims to minimise pores and also prolong make-up wear,
truthfully it did nothing for my enlarged pores but did leave a great base to slick on foundation
on top off and I did feel that it prolonged the wear of my foundation by around an hour or so.
For the price it is a great product but I did find it to feel a little heavy on my skin
and I worry that prolonged wear would eventually break me out.

I would also like to point out that although low in price this is a rather small tube
and I reckon that with daily use you would be replacing this product on a fortnightly basis.

Collection 2000 Fix Me Up Long Lasting Make-Up Fixer £3.99 via Boots - link

"Make Me Up is a weightless mist that adds radiance and keeps make-up in place for longer."

Again a small in stature product that promises to prolong make-up wear,
this is a natural spray product that dispenses a fine mist on to the skin.
The mist is cooling but highly scented and not something that I really enjoy in terms of fragrance.
I hate to be a negative nelly but this did nothing for me it didn't prolong my make-up
nor did it add any signs of radiance it just left my face damp and me a little confused.
Perhaps this is my skin type to fault (oily) and would be better suited to those with drier skins?

Have or would you try either of these products?
