I do love a good trip to Lush every now and then but I do tend to stock pile up on both products
and rarely stop at the hair care section, which is a tragedy as there is some little gems to be found.
Today I'd like to share my thoughts on Lush's Fair Trade Honey Shampoo.
"This bottle is full of the power of flowers, collected and concentrated for you by the bees.
While they were collection the pollen, we searched the meadows for beautiful flowers
to fragrance their work".
Now if like me you are no fan of honey you may want to skip this but if you can suck it up
and power through then it certainly is worth a purchase, honey lover (stripper name if ever I heard it) or not.
The shampoo has a strong honey scent which can be a little sickly sweet but once rinsed out the hair
and when you apply a quick application of conditioner you can not notice the scent at all.
All of that is irrelevant what it does to the hair is far more important and by gosh does it perform.
It lathers up wonderfully and as honey is the main ingredient and a natural conditioning product
it adds moisture where you need it and leaves the hair with an all over shine
which I often struggle to achieve.
It rinses clean and does not leave any nasty residue which can result in dull hair over time
but leaves my hair wonderfully soft and works so well with my dry (previously bleached) ends.

It's been years since I used a Lush shower gel. xo
ReplyDeleteI've never tried any Lush shampoos, don't think I could stomach the smell of honey no matter what good things it might do to my hair! Yuck! x

This sounds gorgeous - I recently discovered the wonders of Lush hair products too, I picked up Rehab shampoo and Retread conditioner to rescue my frazzled hair after a holiday in the sun and chlorine and they have worked absolute wonders, definitely worth a try when your hair needs a treat!

I love LUSH products, especially lovely smelling ones :) I really like sweet honey scented products so maybe this one is for me. I think the price is quite reasonable too :) I must give this a try soon because my hair is becoming more and more damaged from the cold and windy weather these days and i feel like i must give it some extra care! Thanks for sharing and giving your thoughts on this products~xxx
