Thierry Mugler has recently launched a new edition of the original Alien scent - Alien Essence Absolue
which was originally exclusive to Selfridges but now that period of exclusivity is over it is easier for
us that don't have a Selfridges store near to not only test but purchase!


I say this all the time but Alien by Thierry Mugler is my absolute favourite fragrance EVER!
I have owned pretty much every single edition over the years and wear it daily,
it is quite a rich and sensual scent that most would deem more appropriate for evening wear
but I adore it so much that I refuse to follow fragrance rules!

Alien Essence Absolue is slightly lighter and has more golden sunny notes than the original
which is reflected not only in the fragrance notes but also in the delicious gold colour of the liquid!
The warm notes of vanilla and white amber make this the perfect scent for the upcoming winter
weather, what I adore most is that despite having new notes in the mix this still has all the essence of
the original Alien scent but with a slightly lighter feel which does make it more day appropriate.
Also as it is an Eau De Parfum a little really does go a long way and all of the bottles of 
Alien Essence Absolue are refillable which is not only great on the ol' wallet 
but more environmentally friendly in the long term too!
