since I first dabbled with serums and never looked back!
The great thing about serums is that they do not overwhelm the skin with moisture
but they do offer a light dose of hydration (in most cases) and they are jam packed with skin
saving ingredients it's only a case of finding one suited to your own requirements.
Recently I have been road testing REN's Radience Perfection Serum
which comes presented within packaging that is typical to REN's minimalist style.
The serum is encased with a glass bottle that has a pump function which not only aids
application as it dispenses the perfect amount of product with one pump
and also minimises waste and/or leakages.
"Perfect skin tone and leave skin looking energised, radiant and luminous.
Results:Skin looks more energised, radiant, even toned, plumped and healthy
Regular use will help reduce the appearance of sun damaged skin and hyperpigmentation
How to use: Apply under moisturiser in the morning and under night cream in the evening. "
The serum itself is of course a light loose liquid that is almost akin to a gel in consistency
that has a bright citrus scent that is a complete joy to use in the morning as it instantly refreshes
and wakes up my grouchy butt for the day ahead...I don't do mornings well at all!
REN Radience Perfection Serum to instantly absorb into my skin and does not leave it feeling
tight or uncomfortable after use but it does add a small does of moisture and leaves it looking
brighter in appearance, fresher and with a healthy vibrant glow.
REN do state that over time this will help to not only repair sun damage
but also help with skin hyperpigmentation, I don't seem to suffer from either complaint
at this point in my life as I don't tend to sun bathe but I can see this being a great product
for all sun worshippers out there that are worried about future skin damage!

It really is :)
DeleteThis sounds fantastic. I'm the same as you, I only recently started using serums. I have oily / acne prone skin so was worried adding an extra product would make things worse but now I'm loving them.
ReplyDeleteI really want to try some products from the REN range. I've had REN facials in the spa but I've not used their products at home. I must add them to my list to get around to soon :)
Try RENs clearcalm 3 clay cleanser. It just feels like its soaking up the oil on my skin when I'm having an 'oily' day and I use it almost every morning as my AM cleanse.
DeleteI think we have now both put that on our must buy lists :)
DeleteI love the way REN package their products, so handy for keeping on top of usage. Serums are a daily staple for me and I can often get away without using a moisturiser, knowing my skin isn't going without.
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more also serums just feel so lovely on the skin!
