I know the lovely Sue guest posted about this foundation and also shared the background
on why and how this foundation came to be here - link but I thought as we all have different opinions
and experiences not to mention reviewing styles that one more post thrown in the mix wouldn't hurt!

This is actually my third bottle of YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation I was gifted a shade
that was far too dark for my skin tone and then I blindly ordered a shade from The House of Fraser
which in reality was too light so with shade BD50 it really has been third time lucky!
BD50 is a great match for skin tones around the MAC NC35-37 mark and it has a lovely golden undertone.
However YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation boasts a variety of 22 shades so I'm pretty
sure that there is a shade for pretty much every skin tone out there!

There is not much I can really say about the packaging other than that it is classic and not at all gaudy with golden accents, a swish glass bottle that allows you to be watchful of your usage levels and unlike some brands of foundation this comes with a built in pump making dispensing the product a breeze.
Trufully I do not recommend travelling with any glass bottles as lady luck isn't always kind and a handbag or
suitcase with foundation stained contents is less than appealing!

As always I have used my mole as a coverage reference and as you can see it has
all but disappeared

The texture of the YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation is thick for a liquid based foundation
but not so much that it doesn't spread or blend with ease.
It covers without masking and gives a natural yet high coverage finish while feeling weightless on the skin, if you prefer something a little lighter in terms of coverage a damp brush will come in handy!
In my opinion this works best buffed into the skin using a brush of some sort, my preference being a flat top
kabuki but it is easy enough to apply with the fingertips if that is your preferred method.
As you may know by now I have oily skin with old acne scars so I do look for both problems to be catered
to when it comes to any base.
Luckily YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation covers and conceals my red scarring and presents no problems for my oily skin but I do recommend using a primer before application and a light dusting of powder to set and prolong the wear as would with any foundation.
In terms of wear this lasts a full 10 hours on my face with ease and as an avid wearing of white clothing,
I have to commend it for not staining my clothes as others have!

Have you tried YSL Le Teint Touche Éclat Foundation, what are your thoughts?
