I have had this little gem hidden in my stash since it launched late last year as part of the Birds of a Feather collection but never really took the time to appreciate it's beauty until recently.

Yes deep shades tend to be favoured in the cooler months but rules are made to be broken!

Orly Fowl Play is a jelly type polish that has various sized chunks of glitter scattered through out,
I would basically describe it as a deep plum jelly with flakie type pieces and electric blue glitter.

It is an odd combination but that's what makes it striking in my opinion.
The polish changes dimensions depending on which way the light hits it
sometimes it dances a bronze shade others the blue is more prominent.

I do like Orly polishes and find them to wear and apply rather well, not to mention they last
forever due to the huge size of bottle - a whopping 18ml!

This polish is best worn over a similar shade to avoid the dreaded building up of coats that often
comes with jelly types of polishes, I applied two coats of OPI Lincoln Park After Dark
and one coat of Orly Fowl Play and really like the effect that was achieved.

Admittedly it won't be on my nails for any length of time before I switch it up
but I think it is a good combination to keep in mind for when the winter comes back around!

This was a limited edition shade but is still fairly easy enough to pick up on the likes
of eBay for a fairly decent price a little over £7 - link

Nail Polish Disclaimer - I will no longer be commenting on the wear of nail polishes
unless it chips instantly etc as I change my nail colour too frequently (sometimes daily),
to comment properly on the wear and as we all use different techniques such as top coats/base coats
I don't feel that my comments on wear time are helpful in any way.
