Today I have another product from the Beautylush Co line
but in the form of a loose powder blush before I get on with the review
I just want to state that I have been really enjoying some "Indie" make-up
and this has given me the push to broaden my horizons and test out lesser known brands
so keep an eye out for that in the future and feel free to leave some Indie company recommendations
in the comment section...I'd love to check some out!

So yes this is a loose powder blush which comes in a large transparent sifter tub
that is adorned with the Beautylush Co logo this gives it a little bit of personality and makes it stand out from the generic transparent containers and baggies that Indie products are more often than not presented in.
As mentioned it has a sifter so you can limit somewhat how much product you dispense.
The container is sturdy and well made, the bonus is that is completely transparent
so you can see at a glance the shade contained inside.

When offered with the blush shades I instantly selected Madras - you know me and my love for
any cosmetic item that has much as a sniff of orange or coral tone to it.
Madras is a beautiful intense tangerine shade that has a yellow undertone and a subtle shimmer finish
that adds a radiant finish to the skin rather than over powering it with shimmer.
As it has a neutral tone I do feel it will suit most skin tones, you could also use this as an eyeshadow
or mix a little of the pigment with either a clear nail polish or lip gloss for matching products.

I will be the first to put my adds up and say I do not favour loose powder products
and would prefer this in a pressed formula however this is simply personal preference.to blame
The blush itself is finely milled and is beautifully soft to the touch,
it picks up well on the brush, easy to apply and blend out.
The pigmentation is great - you can lightly dust it on for a sheer finish
or build it up for more intense colour without it feeling heavy or cakey on the skin
nor does it cling to dry patches of the skin and seems to work fairly well with my oily skin type.
I found this to work best with primed skin and wear when primed for around 6 or so hours.
