Apivita Aqua Vita 24 Hour Moisturising Cream (Oily/Combination) - Review

Friday, June 29, 2012

Light weight gel texture moisturisers are my favourite type of daily moisturisers
and up until recently I had been using Clinique Moisture Surge Intense which is truly wonderful
but perhaps a little to moisturising for my current skin condition - balmy weather, really oily!
But I have found an almost gel like product that works wonderfully with my oily complexion
as it is formulated to do so, the product I am speaking about is no other than Apivita Aqua Vita 24 Hour Moisturising Cream for Oily/Combination Skin Types.

98% natural ingredients
  • Chaste tree increases moisture and firms skin
  • Provides and retains deep 24-hour moisture with oat and lecithin
  • Propolis helps to regulate oiliness and offers antiseptic action
  • Enriched with organic geranium essential oil, offers holistic care as it revitalises both the skin and mood
Exclusive innovation: APIVITA replaces water in the aqua vita line with green tea infusion to enhance the antioxidant action.

Excludes synthetic ingredients that may pose harmful effects to your health and the environment.
Free of: Parabens, Silicones, Propylene glycol, Mineral Oil, PEG and Ethanolomine.

As mentioned it is some what like a gel in texture - light and instantly absorbed into the skin without overwhelming oily skin types nor does it leave behind residue or leave the skin looking shiny.
It simply moisturisers where the skin needs it most (oh the problems of having combination fickle skin)
and dries to a natural finish that lends itself rather nicely to any product you may wish to apply on top.
I also like to apply a thick layer of this moisturiser every once and a while, leave for 10 minutes, wipe of the excess and enjoy the benefits of a truly deeply moisturising facial mask.

As with all of Apivita products this contains no parabens or other nasties and has not been tested on animals.
