Having oily lids I tend to gravitate towards cream products as they last so much longer on my skin type
and provide great bases to layer a powder product on top off again to prolong the wear time.
The great thing about cream eye products is their multi use benefits,
wonderful for those who like to travel light be it everyday or on their travels!
My latest discovery in the cream world is Mememe Dew Pots.

"High performance, ultra long-stay rich colour eye defining cream in 8 opulent shades
to add an on-trend splash of colour to your look this season.
Use alone for colour blocking or blend multiple shades together for ultimate impact"

Admittedly you don't get a whole lot of product in the dinky glass jars - 3ml
but they are well packaged and look more expensive than they actually are!
The jars are sturdy and pleasant enough on the eye but do ensure you keep the lid on this product
as it will dry out rather quickly without the correct care.

As earlier mentioned their is 8 shades in the Dew Pot line and I have shade 1 - Woodland Truffle.
Woodland Truffle is a light champange infused taupe shade that works wonderfully
with any cool toned eyeshadow layered on top, when I first opened this shade I couldn't help
but think this would be the most wonderful companion to the Naked 2 palette.
I have been layering Mac Satin Taupe over this and it works just beautifully!
As I earlier mentioned these can be used in a whole manner of ways -
an all over wash of colour, as an eye liner or as a base for a powder product.

The formula of these is more like a mousse than a cream
but it blends in beautifully and requires no heating up prior to use.
It is soft and easy to apply be it with a finger or a brush.
My only grumble is that once blended out it really is rather glittery/shimmery
so not totally idea for day wear but pretty none the less.
The pigmentation is fair and can be built up to provide a more opaque effect.
Worn alone without a primer this does crease quite quickly - just a little over an hour
but primed it will last far longer on my oily lids around the 6 hour mark
and even longer with a powder shadow layered on top - 8 hours or so.
