The  L'Or Electric collection which for now is limited edition will launch at the end of this month
but it is currently available via Feel Unique and may have sneaked on to a few counters all ready.
L'Or Electric is to celebrate L'Oreal's 5 years as the official Make-Up Artists for the Cannes Film Festival
and is inspired by the bright lights of Cannes, think shimmering metallics infused with neon brights.
Created by Colour Director Orrea Light, the L’Or Electric Collection is inspired by the vivacity of the Eighties. Post-Modernism, Studio 54, neon, fluorescent colours and electric music; these were just a few of the buzz words on Orrea’s mood board, bringing the extravagance of the Eighties into the modern day.

The collection is not extensive but does include a good few products including two new shades
of L'oreal Color Infaillible Eyeshadow's -  037 Metallic Lilac, 039 Magnetic Coral
in the past some likened them to Giorgio Armani Eyes to Kill shadows
as I haven't tested those I can't honestly comment but I can say that L'oreal Color Infaillible Eyeshadow's
may just have changed my opinion forever about loose pigment products forever.

L'oreal Color Infaillible Eyeshadows come neatly packaged in transparent screw top jars
with silver trimmings and inside each shade they have a little plastic conserver that you use to
squash down the loose eyeshadow after each application.
The formula of these eyeshadow's are odd, yes they are loose pigments in a sense
but as they are semi-pressed they feel like a mousse type of product to the touch
yet when you apply and blend these out they feel more like a gel...so odd but exciting!
The great thing is that you have all the flexibility of a loose pigment type of product
yet none of the hassle i.e product spill out and waste issues.

Each product in the L'Or Electric collection has a duo tone effect which is most apparent in the eyeshadows.
Both shades have a metallic finish and as L'Oreal rightly state they have an iridescent effect,
they apply effortlessly, blend like a dream and wear so well - 10 hours plus!
Metallic Lilac is a cool metallic Lilac that has a grey blue undertone,
it works wonderfully well blended into a smokey eye and works beautifully with cool taupe shades too!
Magnetic Coral is a warm orange/pink coral shade that is not really a shade I would use on my eyes
but surprisingly it works well with gold and brown tones that are perfect for the summer weather,
you could also use this as a blush if you like glowy cheeks - who doesn't?
I have tried it as a blush and found it to work rather well layered over a matte bronzer
for a look that just screams bronze goddess...haha that' sounds so egotistical doesn't it!
