So a little over 14 days ago I began using Clinique Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector
basically it is a serum like fluid that you apply morning and evening that has been proven to reduce
dark spots, acne scarring, age spots and general skin stresses if used over a course of 4 weeks.
Clinique do stress you must use a sunscreen in conjunction with this product for it to best work.
As mentioned it has been over a fortnight since I began using it and all honesty I can't see any results
as of yet but I'm not too bothered by this as it does state that the treatment needs a full month to work.
In all honesty I did think that perhaps some of my scars would seem less red
and angry by now but no such luck as of yet!
However we are only half way in hopefully the latter half is when the magic happens?

DeleteI tried this when it first came out and I didn't notice it reducing my scars at all, but it did make my skin feel nice! Hope you have more luck with it! x

DeleteI've been looking for something recently to fade my acne scarring. But other than microderm microdermabrasion, nothing seems to work. Let's hope you have some luck with this! It would be nice to have a product that works that doesn't involve taking a layer of skin off haha! :)

I tried this for the 6 weeks but also found it broke me out and did nothing for the scars. I guess sometimes time is only inexpensive solution. Hopefully, it'll work better for you.
ReplyDeleteI'll be willing to give it the full month...well...to let you give it the full month before I try it. I'm always doubtful of dark spot correctors so I haven't tried it yet.

ReplyDeleteI used it till the bottle was dry! I love this stuff and if it weren't so expensive (at least here in America), I would've already bought a second bottle. I have severe acne scarring that is so pigmented that no amount of foundation or concealer can ever cover them up. I started using the spot corrector and at first I didn't notice any difference. I'm not use to looking myself in the mirror because I'm so self conscious about my acne and acne scarring, but one day I looked up and I was completely shocked. All my scars had faded significantly and it was such a noticeable difference. I hadn't seen my face without dark acne scars for years and I thanked my lucky star that I found this. I switched to a "cheaper" version by Estee Lauder and I haven't found it to be as amazing.
