The Yardley Royal English Daisy scent is one of those unexpected scents,
I for one never imagined it to be so fresh and youthful
as Yardley is a brand many associate with the older generations
but it is such a bright and cheery scent that is perfect for Spring and Summer!
In the warmer months I like to layer my scent so it lasts longer and doesn't feel as sickly
as continually spritizing myself with my chosen scent of the day.
The best way to do this is to apply a complimentary layer of bath and body product.
Yardley Royal English Daisy Luxury Body Wash is essentially a thick and indulgent shower gel
that doubles up as a bubble bath should you squirt a small amount under running water.
It soaps up really well and produces a magnificent lather wither you use a loofah or not.
It contains Q10 which helps to moisturise as it cleanses so your skin is not stripped of it's natural moisture.
I found it to be lovely and moisturising, it cleansed my skin leaving behind a lovely light scent
that lasted the entire day without being overpowering!
Yardley Royal English Daisy Moisturising Body Lotion is the perfect partner not only to the body wash
but also the adjoining Yardley Royal English Daisy Eau de Toilette.
What I really liked about the body lotion is the pump dispenser, it results in less product waste
and as I apply this straight after a shower it is very easy to use when slippery!
Much like the Luxury Body Wash this also has Q10 but it also has Shea butter, grape seed oil,
sweet almond oil and vitamin E so not only does this lotion moisturise but it also helps combat ageing!
I found this lotion to be light weight, easily absorbed and non greasy,
a great lotion to slick on straight after a shower or bath!

DeleteI have to say I did a double take when I saw 'Yardley' pop up on my bloglovin feed as it is a brand I firmly associate with Grans! Just goes to show you must always keep an open mind about these things as gems can be found in the unlikeliest of places. I bet many beauty bloggers would have turned this brand down if offered it for review just because of its image!

DeleteHaha yes some would be off put but I think you shouldn't knock it until you've tried it that is why you may see some obscure items on this blog time to time haha!
