Isn't the jar for this face cream completely beautiful?
A show piece on the dresser for sure!
When this arrived I spent a good few minutes admiring it before my mother cooed over it.
Ahh...
Anyway moving on...housed inside the glass jar is L'Occitane Ultra Rich Face Cream
which is formulated with 25% pure Shea butter, giving the cream a delightful natural Shea scent
that is completely undetectable on the skin and does not in any way irritate delicate/sensitive skin types.
This face cream was formulated with dry to very dry skin in mind as it's purpose is to protect against
future dry skin and act as a barrier against climate change making it the perfect choice for winter.
Now I don't personally have dry skin on my face so this is not really suited to me
but that being said the recent cold snap has left my skin feeling tight and uncomfortable.
I know that my skin simply can not handle this level of moisturisation on a daily basis
so I have been using this every third day to give my skin a much needed boost
and can happily report that L'Occitane Ultra Rich Cream works wonderfully for ridding your skin
of that nasty tight and uncomfortable feeling the winter weather can also cause.
It leaves no residue nor did it leave my skin looking overly shiny, it simply delivers a boost of hydration
to the skin leaving it soft and subtle all the while absorbing instantly.
It feels light on the skin which is surprising considering it is a rich facial cream!
I enjoyed testing this face cream and would recommend it to those who have dry/very dry skin
as it could well be the perfect dose of hydration for such skin types particularly in the winter months.
If like I you have oily to normal skin type then I would suggest using this once maybe twice a week
as an intensive moisture treatment.

This moisturiser actually looks like it would be the perfect thing for my extremely dry skin. I think PI'm going to have to give this a go as even facial oils aren't working for my skin at the moment :(

DeleteLovely packaging! Sometimes I wish I had dryish skin instead of oily just to use these kind of products, luxury moisturizes are just the nicest things and they never come with oil free forumlas :( The most "beautiful" oil-free/control moisturizer I got was the M.A.C. one, haha!
