Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades Blushalicious

Collection 2000 Shimmer and Shades remind me some what of Givenchy Prisme Blushes,
as both blush palettes contain 4 individual chunks or blocks of blush pigment
aesthetically they remind me of chocolate but that is me thinking with my belly
and not at all my head!

Packaging wise it is a case of cheap and cheerful maybe not so much the cheerful aspect
as the blush is encased in a transparent plastic case but I have seen much worse
and don’t really find the plastic all that offensive as it is practical to see what is inside!
I can’t really comment on wither or not the blush is well protected as I haven’t used it out with the home environment but it feels fairly sturdy to me!

I should mention that Collection 2000 Shimmer and Shades come in two colour variations
but I settled on the pinky/coral palette of colours that is named Blushalicious,
yes a little dated as adding “licious” to the end of words died when Destiny’s Child split!
Word play aside the shades are really pretty and appeal to my inner coral demon
and should be a lovely blush addition to any spring/summer make-up bag.

So yes you have four individual shades that are firmly pressed yet soft to the touch,
that however does not equate to high pigmentation as I found out while swatching.
the shades do not perform well individually at all, instead three out of four shades
seriously lacked any decent colour pay off.
Blushalicious’s redeeming shade is the deep pink which is located on the top right hand corner.
Combined the shade is a bright orange tinged coral pink which is not world apart from Nars Oragsm
it even shares the shame golden sheen aspect.
I found it to have the best pay off in terms of colour and is the most dominate shade
when all four colours are combined.
I would normally suggest that this is a multi tasking product but it is not it works best
with all four shades are combined and should you use the shades individually I feel most would be disappointed unless really fair skinned.
The wear time was not great either this lasted around 5 hours before it all but wore off.
