Yep another Maybelline Moisture Extreme lipstick,
I just can't seem to get enough of the amazing formula
but I promise this will be my last post on these lipsticks for a long while
as I have ran out of shades to purchase haha!
The Moisture Extreme lipsticks come encased either in a red or gold plastic case,
either way they are not particularly pretty but they do a fine job of keeping the contents
secure and protect well against bumps and bashes which is all you can really ask for.
Maybelline Moisture Extreme in Peach Colada looks really dated and frosty in bullet form
not to mention a garish shade of orange!
But worry not as once applied it becomes a light coral peach hue with a light glossy
yet shimmery finish without a sniff of '80's or Pat Butcher in sight!
I can also say that although the shade has tiny glitter particles
it does not in any way feel rough on the lips just the same moisturising feel
as the other shades in this line!
Maybelline Extreme Moisture Lipsticks glide on like nothing else I own,
well maybe a lip butter or two
but none of my lipsticks glide on as smoothly and as softly as this does.
Not only is the moisture levels out of this world but the pigmentation makes the grade too.
I found this lipstick to deliver great colour pay off in one clean swipe
and did not find it to bleed, feather or apply patchy.
Once applied it has a lovely glossy finish that means you can skip the gloss if you so wish.
The only kicker so to speak with this lipstick is that it doesn't last as long as I'd hoped for.
On average I get around two hours of wear from each application,
which isn't a problem for a habitual re-applier but worth noting if you require a long lasting formula.

ReplyDeleteI must admit, the bullet got me all hyped up to think it was a more orange-based shade than it turned out to be. Still, that formula sounds like heaven.
