Maybelline Extreme Moisture Lipstick in Pinky Beige

I was reading Mouldy Fruit's blog - link and recently she was chatting about a favourite lipstick of hers
said lipstick was Maybelline Extreme Moisture in Pinky Beige (721),
I admired it, saw it was a lovely shade on her and thought nothing more of it really.
Well that was until I was doing my usual mooch around Boots and spotted it,
curiosity made me swatch it on my hand (anyone who uses the testers on their lips deserves cold sores)
and right there and then I bought four!
Yes four of the same shade, in my defence it is currently buy one get one half off haha!

Now the packaging is nothing to behold, in fact it verges on tacky and dated.
A copper tone plastic case houses the lipstick safely inside,
it's light and reasonably pretty but if you are looking for something designer-esque
keep on looking baby!

The shade Pinky Beige is a pretty brown based pink
which in my opinion has the perfect balance of pink and brown.
From first slick I fell in love with the shade,
I struggle with nude lipsticks some are too pale and wash me out
then others are too dark and just look wrong...oh so wrong!
Pinky Beige is nude lip perfection for me and I urge all mid toned
to dark skinned ladies to give it a swipe!
In fact everyone who loves nude shades should have a swipe.
Sunday Girl lipstick stamp of approval for sure!!!

Not only is the shade to die for but the formula is amazing (gushing here in-case no-one has noticed).
It glides on like nothing else I own, well maybe a lip butter or two
but none of my lipsticks glide on as smoothly and as softly as this does.
Not only is the moisture levels out of this world but the pigmentation makes the grade too.
I found this lipstick to deliver great colour pay off in one clean swipe
and did not find it to bleed, feather or apply patchy.
Once applied it has a lovely glossy finish that means you can skip the gloss if you so wish.
The only kicker so to speak with this lipstick is that it doesn't last as long as i'd hoped for.
On average I get around two hours of wear from each application,
which isn't a problem for a habitual re-applier but worth noting if you need a long lasting formula.
