Skincare is a fairly decisive subject, not only can it be a pricey but necessary venture for most. There are so many new - and frankly exciting brands - out there, eager to be plucked and added to your bathroom cabinet. As we only have one face, understandably most of us tread with caution when tempted to overhaul our entire skincare routine, that's why I love to dabble and dare I say collect miniature skin - and in general beauty -products; typically speaking they work out to be more affordable. If you can find little kits such as the Drunk Elephant The Littles 4.0 (£76), then you have a whole assortment of dinky goodies to play around with - not to mention a cute travel bag to boot.
There's something irresistible about Drunk Elephant The Littles and their packaging in general isn't there? I don't think I'm alone in saying that there's an instant appeal in any product, that has all been shrunk like an 80's Disney movie. Do I need another face cream? Nope but scale that little sucker down into a palm sized version and I'll take two, three if the packaging happens to cute. Even if size doesn't matter to you (ahem), the beauty of the Drunk Elephant The Littles 4.0 kit is that not only does it offer a complete and really well rounded skincare routine, but each product is travel friendly - yes that does include flights. The bright, coral bag is also perfect for jet-setting as not only can it be zipped up tightly but also splayed thanks to the poppers, to stand upright to aide you in even the smallest of bathrooms.
The Drunk Elephant The Littles 4.0 contains eight products most of which have reached cult status within the skincare community:
Drunk Elephant Beste No. 9 Jelly Cleanser (30ml)
A great and varied assortment wouldn't you agree? I rather appreciate that there's a standalone SPF within the mix, something I have noticed that other brands do tend to ignore. Technically speaking you can divvy up the contents of the Drunk Elephant The Littles 4.0 into two categories: everyday products and treatments. From a quick and easy cleanser, moisturiser and eye cream, to night and day treatments and multiple serums, it has it all and then some.
Along with being one of the most fun brands around, Drunk Elephant is well known for a good few reasons such as being free from the ‘Suspicious 6’ (essential oils, drying alcohols, silicones, chemical screens, fragrance/dyes and SLSs) and creating an entirely new category within the beauty space: ‘Clean-Clinical’ - whatever that means? I don't really get bogged down by trendy, buzz words nor do I care if a product is man-made or natural, all I want is great results and I can vouch that Drunk Elephant does deliver on that front.
