The Sunday Girl x Roccabox

I've been keeping a fairly sizeable secret under my hat, one that I have been working on for quite a few months and have had trouble quite believing it was really happening, but I can finally reveal that I have teamed up with Roccabox to create a one off beauty box.

In case you have yet to become familiarised with Roccabox, let me quickly break down the concept: yes it is a monthly subscription box, full of beauty products but what sets this aside is that each month Roccabox teams up with a social influencer and allows them to curate the contents. Past editions include Jessica Harris of Twenty6Style blog and Lauren from Sassy in the City, and I'm all but sure there will be more exciting collaborations to come.

So what is inside The Sunday Girl x Roccabox? I'm glad you asked!

As it is July, I wanted to pick products that would travel easily should you be jetting off somewhere in the coming weeks but I also wanted tried and true staples, that you would want to reach for time and time again. I also want to add that all five brands and products featured within the The Sunday Girl x Roccabox are cruelty free.

First up is Soap & Glory The Rushshower Scent-Sational Dry Shampoo - a non-brainer for me, it smells incredible (the original pink scent), refreshes the hair instantly making light work of oily roots and is compact enough to fit into even the smallest of bags.

Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil - It is no secret that I adore Burt's Bees as a brand and one of my favourite products of theirs is the Burt's Bees Cleansing Oil. It is super gentle thanks to a blend of Coconut and Argan Oil and yet it removes even the most stubborn of mascara and heavy foundation.
Balance Me Congested Skin Serum - as someone with blemish prone skin, I swear by this light, silky and non-drying serum to gently encourage blemishes to heal a little quicker. I also like to use it all over my face when flying as I find it prevents my skin from breaking out due to stress or other factors.

Ellis Faas Concealer - it covers, it conceals, it brightens and it feels simply fantastic on the skin, every make-up bag needs an Ellis Faas Concealer - especially if sleep is nothing but a distant memory.

Evolve Organic Beauty Radiant Glow - I predict big things for Evolve Organic Beauty but if I could suggest one product to try it would be their Radiant Glow Mask: a blend of raw cacao powder and clay combine to gently refine and polish the skin for a healthy, soft-to-the-touch skin.

Lastly we have MOA The Green Balm - an apply all over (expect from the eyes) nourishing balm that heals, soothes and softens. I swear by it for dry, cracked lips and often mix a little with my favourite lipstick to create my own custom lip balm.

You can purchase The Sunday Girl x Roccabox via Roccabox for £10 (plus £3.95 p&p) via Roccabox - link.
