What was your first taste of luxury beauty or perhaps even luxury goods in general? For me - and I'm guessing many others - it was a bottle of fragrance from an expensive fashion house. The first ever mist of scent that was gifted to me - that wasn't an Impulse body spray - was a fancy bottle of Versace Red Jeans Eau de Toilette; yes I was a child and used it as air freshner but the sentiment remains the same. Fast forward a few years later and I still get a sentimental pang whenever I test out a new Versace scent, with the latest being the super luxurious Versace Eros Pour Femme Eau de Parfum.
If the bottle of Versace Eros Pour Femme Eau de Parfum doesn't fit your definition of luxury, I'm afraid we can not be friends. I'm of course jesting but doesn't the bottle just embody the brand of Versace? Bright, bold, glossy, golden and a little on the loud side - not that I've ever been but I imagine this bottle would be very at home in the Versace villa? There is no bottle more beautiful nor gilded within my collection but my gosh is it heavy. This is not going to be the obvious choice for travel but everyone deserves to own something this pretty don't they?
As beautiful as Versace Eros Pour Femme Eau de Parfum may be to behold, the scent held within is what will really win you over. A heady, powerful and altogether sensual blend of sparkling notes of Sicilian lemon, jasmine sambac and musk, mingle together creating a strong statement that is ideal for the evening, or simply for those that don't shirk away from bold scents. Although this does not smell identical to any other fragrance I currently own - or can think of, for that matter - it does have a certain, strong floral essence which I personally think Versace are renowned for? It is as every bit as gorgeous as the packaging suggests and then some.
If bold, glossy and deeply floral are your thing, make sure you test Versace Eros Pour Femme Eau de Parfum at your next convenience - you will not be disappointed, just make sure you display the bottle on full view so everyone can see how fancy you truly are!
