Zoella Beauty products have mostly - or at least in my instance - went unnoticed; my younger sister adores the Zoella candle and has a good few bath and body products scattered throughout the bathroom and that could be part of the reason I have by passed such beauty line. Admit it, you probably assumed - and I did too - that in your twenties you were too old to enjoy the Zoella products. Wrong. Zoella Beauty is a somewhat hidden bath and beauty treasure for us over 16; there is a whole collection of truly beautiful scented (and presented) body treats just waiting to be discovered and enjoyed.
The Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations collection is fairly vast yet not overwhelming, in total there are eight new products to choose from or of course collect, all of which share a sweet vanilla based macaroon fragrance. In my opinion it reminds me a little of marshmallows, milkshakes and ice-cream; soft, milky, sweet and really easy to wear and enjoy for that matter - it should appeal to all ages, which is not something I thought I'd be able to say in regards to a confectionery based scent.
I was very kindly sent three items from the new Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations Collection to try out. First up we have the super cute, Zoella Life is Sweet Beauty Bag - this dinky powder-blue-come-lilac zipped pouch is the ideal handbag sized organiser for stashing inside your daily essentials (or it can double up as a coin purse) not to mention it has a certain Ted Baker vibe but with an affordable price tag.
Body sprays are often overlooked, if like myself you are prone to headaches (especially in the warm weather) you need to add a body splash or two to your collection. Typically speaking they offer a softer and altogether more refreshing take on fragrance, if vanilla based scents appeal to you, I can not recommend the Zoella Beauty Sweet Inspirations Body Mist enough. Unlike your typical body spray this comes beautifully presented in a glass, art-deco inspired bottle and smells good enough to eat...well nearly. The soft, sugary sweet vanilla based scent, gently lingers on the skin for hours, uplifts and is cooling on a balmy day - a snip at just £8 for 45ml.
Lastly and perhaps most excitingly, I have the huge and utterly delectable Zoella Beauty Le Fizz Fragranced Bath Fizzer. Forget what you know about bath bombs, this large slab is all but genius. Unlike your typical bath accompaniment, you have the option of snapping off as much or as little product as you wish - basically a custom bath fizzer which I have yet to spot anywhere else on the UK highstreet. As you have probably guessed, when the chunks of Zoella Beauty Le Fizz Fragranced Bath Fizzer hit water they fizz and froth, softening and scenting the bath water - add a candle, a good book and you have my perfect evening in.
