Like most, it really does take a lot for me to sign up for a beauty subscription service of any kind, if I am entirely honest the concept has become a little stale and overdone. I can count on one hand the monthly sub boxes I am a fan of and still have a couple of digits to spare. As such, I have vowed only to give air space to those truly deserving and one I can't recommend enough is the Candle Belle Mega Melt Box - a dream come true if you are a home fragrance obsessive like myself.
For just £11 a month (that includes postage), you will receive nine hand-picked Candle Belle Mega Melts. For the first three months of your subscription, you are guaranteed to not receive any repeat fragrances which is pretty rare in my experience. As you can see, the Candle Belle Mega Melts have not been dubbed mega for no apparent reason, they are indeed huge - around three times the size of a regular wax tart. Due to their vast size I do recommend cutting your Candle Belle Mega Melts into a few pieces to avoid an overflowing wax tart burner - this is no way diminishes the scent throw. I use around a quarter of a tart per burn and it more than fragrances my small flat.
As mentioned the fragrances do vary per month but for those curious here is what was inside my Candle Belle Mega Melt Box for the month of February; I have of course shared a quick few thoughts on each scent because well, frankly it wouldn't be a review post within an opinion of some sort ha!
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Clean Cotton Sheets - soft, gentle and a little reminiscent of fabric softer.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Lemongrass - bright and zesty, very true to life.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Chocolate Brownie - this smells exactly like Chocolate cake mix, delicious.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Apple Mango Tango - sweet, fruity and all without being overly apple based.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Doodlebug - sweet, bright and cheery with a strong watermelon kick.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Parma Violets - this smells exactly like the sweets!
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Buttercream Cupcake - sweet, creamy and very vanilla based.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Cola Cubes - if you like cola bottle sweets you will enjoy this.
Candle Belle Mega Melt in Spice Bazaar - a classic spice scent that is warm and exotic.
If you seem to go through endless candles and wax tarts each month and want a high quality yet affordable, home fragrance option this may be the box for you. I also think it is great to sample Candle Belle as a brand too without being overly costly.

May have to stop my Flamingo Candles Melt Crowd box for a couple months to try this out! Loving the packaging, and so happy they're around a similar price
ReplyDeleteI love a good subscription box, and I love wax melts so this sounds right up my street. I've just recently signed up for the melt crowd, but I might give this one a shot next to see which I prefer. Sounds like you got a lovely range of scents! x

This looks great & I really like their packaging. I'm subscribed to the Melt Crowd, but I'm honestly getting a bit bored with it so this might be my next course of action, being very similar in price. I love affordable candles!
