As sure as I can predict that the Winter will bring rain (seriously where is the snow?), I can pretty must guarantee that my lips will dry out and mostly likely crack on at least one occasion. If you are feeling particularly fancy or perhaps really enjoy the By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm formula, then do I have quite the treat for you.

I won't pretend that at £125 (it has been reduced from £250) that the  By Terry Baume de Rose Lip Balm Trio comes cheap but for some the By Terry Baume de Rose formulation is of course considered a holy grail product, and what could be better than three jars of your favourite balm? Three jars of your beloved balm in premium form, gently infused with real 24K and subtly tinted that is what.

The By Terry Baume de Rose Trio, contains three full sized beautifully presented pots of By Terry Baume de Rose in: White Gold, Gold and Rose Gold. As you can see the balms are ever so slightly tinted but rather than imparting high levels of pigment, they leave behind a subtle metallic sheen - ideal for wearing alone or layering over other lip products. Believe it or not, the sheen actually gives the illusion of fuller, plumper lips. To aid application the By Terry Baume de Rose Trio comes complete with a golden, retractable firm and tapered lip brush - personally I would stash this aside for using with a lipstick.

The By Terry Baume de Rose has somewhat become iconic due to the rich, moisturising yet non-greasy texture that is ideal for use on both the lips and nail beds. By Terry Baume de Rose plumps and hydrates the lips using pure rose essential wax which helps to smooth the skin, while shea butter adds a double yet light dose of moisture. To help improve the appearance of fine lines, the formulation contains bio-ceramides and lipid spheres help skin retain hydration. Pretty impressive wouldn't you agree? As far as lip and nail balms go this is one of the best I have tried in terms of deeply nourishing the lips - it isn't moisturises and does so for a good few hours after application, acting as a barrier against the elements. The only real downside (price aside of course) is that I do not find the By Terry Baume de Rose formulation all that helpful when my lips are chapped, then again very little other than medicated products do.
