New Pixi Skincare Additions

New Pixi Skincare Additions

Like most who have tried it, I am addicted to Pixi Glow Tonic - a quick and easy way to exfoliate and brighten the complexion. It is an understatement to say that it has revolutionised how I and so many others treat dead and dry skin cells. Well my beauty loving friends, prepare to line your bathroom shelves with more pretty mint green bottles, as the Pixi skin care range has expanded with new masks, treatments and so much more.

So here's the low down, not only is there a travel version of Pixi Glow Tonic (100ml) but also pre-soaked Pixi Glow Peel Pads - great if you tend to over apply product or would rather not faff around with cotton wool. Pixi skin care is of course renowned for creating a glowing complexion, all thanks to Pixi Glow Tonic. Well along with the aforementioned product, there is also Pixi Glowtion Day Dew - a hydrating day moisturiser that adds radiance to the skin, Pixi Rose Oil Blend - a nourishing skin oil that restores, renews and adds luminosity. There is also two variants of facial wipes: one specifically designed to melt make off - Pixi Make up Melting Cleansing Cloths, as well as the regular Pixi Moisturising Cleansing Cloths.

While we are on the topic of cleansers, let me quickly tell you about the two new options: one mud based and one a solid, balm cleanser. First up we have the Pixi Glow Mud Cleanser, a deeply cleansing mud based product that not only clears out clogged pores but exfoliates too. It has been formulated to promote a healthy, lit within glow - dreamy or what? For those like myself who enjoy balm cleansers, you'll be excited to learn that Pixi have just launched a solid to oil balm - Pixi Nourishing Cleansing Balm. This gentle balm aims to nourish, soften and cleanse the skin - I can not wait to try this out!

For those who enjoy facial masks you have the choice of two: Pixi Nourishing Sleep Mask, an anti-ageing formula that plumps and hydrates while you sleep. There is also Pixi Glow Mud Mask which is being deemed an express facial in a tube, brightening and exfoliating, as well as purifying and of course offering up deep cleansing properties.

Pixi have two other products that work while you sleep: Pixi Overnight Glow Serum and Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream. Both hydrate, comfort and soothe while you catch forty winks and in the case of Pixi Overnight Glow Serum it also exfoliates to reveal a brighter, perkier complexion when you awaken. This may make mornings bearable for someone who is a night owl.

If you have a dry or dehydrated complexion your first Pixi pit stop should be one (or all) of the following new Pixi products: Pixi H20 Skindrink, Pixi Hydrating Milky Serum or Pixi Hydrating Milky Mist - all of which are extra hydrating, soothing and nourishing to restore dried out complexions. I also think they will be the perfect additions to any Winter skin care routine.

The lip and eye area also gets the Pixi treatment with Pixi Nourishing Lip Polish, a moisturising lip balm that does the impossible - hydrates and rids the lips of dry and dead skin. So clever and apparently easy to use too! For the eyes there is Pixi 24k Eye Elixir, a cooling, hydrating and de-puffing treatment that you simply roll on when required.

I will of course be trying everything out and will be posting full reviews in the coming weeks but until then do let me know what you are most excited about?

  16. I always walk past Pixi for some reason. I have no idea why. I guess maybe because its a bit pricey for the drugstore (well...Target). But I just ran out of make up cloths and I think I will go ahead and grab some from this line (and probably one or two other things too).
