L'Occitane Rebalancing Black Soap £16/170g - link.
Let's start with the star of the show and perhaps the product that has piqued the interest of many - L'Occitane Rebalancing Black Soap. Don't let the name nor appearance put you off, this is not a solid bar of soap - rather a somewhat gooey paste that you use in place of a traditional body wash. However, unlike a body wash or gel this is a little more special as it is a body treatment - the thick paste has been formulated to rebalance the skin, soften and refine the texture. Again unlike anything that comes in liquid form this is not to be used daily but rather up to three times a week.
The best way I can describe L'Occitane Rebalancing Black Soap, is as a sophisticated body jelly. It glides onto the skin with ease and is a truly indulgent experience from start to end. It gently lathers, releasing a beautiful yet herbal fragrance which is a blend of Olive Oil and Eucalyptus essential oil. Despite the soft, almost putty like texture this soap deeply cleanses the skin on the body, gently removes not only the texture of dry/dead skin but the appearance without the need of a gritty texture. As an added bonus, I have found that L'Occitane Rebalancing Black Soap is the perfect accompaniment to shaving the legs, it provides the slip needed for a razor but as it is naturally exfoliating it prevents ingrown hairs. To call L'Occitane Rebalancing Black Soap magical, is an understatemnet.
L'Occitane Rebalancing Exfoliating Shower Gel £14/250ml - link.
If a traditional shower gel is more your thing, then worry not as L'Occitane Rebalancing Exfoliating Shower Gel. Admittedly it may not be as novel as the above soap but it does do more than your average body wash! L'Occitane Rebalancing Exfolaiting Shower Gel contains Cypress, Juniper, Lemon, Thyme and Eucalyptus (a wonderful unisex scent) to invigorate both the body and mind. Oh but that is not all, along with gently foaming and cleansing the skin, L'Occitane Rebalancing Exfolaiting Shower Gel also contains olive and lemon particles to both smooth and remove impurities from the skin. A great shower gel to kick start any morning with.
L'Occitane Rebalancing Infusions Bath Soaks £15 - link.
Perhaps you are more of a bath person and who can blame you, is there anything more relaxing? I think not and as I've said before bath salts are certainly making a come back. The new and limited edition L'Occitane Rebalancing Infusions Baths Soaks are what you have been waiting for? Five individual sachets of bath salts containing revitalising salt and of course a blend citrus fruit peel to gently exfoliate and revitalise the skin and of course the mind.
L'Occitane Rebalancing Massage Cream £28/200ml - link.
I'm not a huge fan of massage as a concept but I do enjoy applying deeply moisturising and nourishing body creams, especially in the colder weather. L'Occitane Rebalancing Massage Cream not only features a 100% natural fragrance but also a quick to absorb and deeply nourishing gel like texture. L'Occitane Rebalancing Massage Cream has been enriched with horse chestnut extract, glycerin and hydrating natural sugars which combined with even the most basic of massage techniques can promote microcirculation, re-oxygenate the epidermis and reveal skin’s radiance (in laymen's terms it plumps, softens and brightens).
L'Occitane Rebalancing Face Mask £20/75ml - link.

Do pop over to my blog, if you fancy of course, and tell me what you think!
All of these pieces sound amazing, it sounds like a lovely collection! I've been getting really into clay masks recently, so will definitely look into this one, as I hate it when a mask leaves your skin feeling stripped of all moisture :) x

I have dry, moderately sensitive skin.
ReplyDeleteMy skin had tanned [actually sun burnt] over holidays and looked a bit tired and over exposed to sun.
Tested the l'occitane aromachologie rebalancing Mask today. I am impressed. Instantly got back my glow and lost the over exposed tan look.
My skin felt soft after removing the mask and didn't experience any dry tightness.
Very Excited!
