Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream Review and Uses

When asked what my one staple, do all, suit all product is, I more often than not recommend Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream. At this point I've lost count to how many tubes I have depleted over the years and how many uses I have found for the golden, slightly medicinal scented balm. I'm of the persuasion that every household should invest in a bottle or jar of Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, you'll be surprised to just how often you rely on it.

The obvious use for this balm and perhaps what Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream is most famed for is how quickly and effectively it can repair chapped lips. I won't pretend that the thick texture and scent don't take a little getting used to but one thing that is for sure is that it gets the job done. Not only does Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream soothe and comfort broken skin (lips and elsewhere), it also locks in moisture with a protective barrier aiding the repair and skin renewal process. Nothing quite nourishes my lips like it - this is probably the reason why so many Supermodels (past and present) swear by it.

Other and perhaps less than conventional uses are: applying it to shaving cuts to steam the bleeding and of course to dull the pain and repair the skin in one quick move. It can also be used on bug bites and general skin irritation such as rashes to calm and eradicate any itchiness. If all other hand creams have failed you Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream will not only hydrate but protect the skin from the harsh outdoor eliminates making it a firm favourite of many a gardener. In the Winter I have been known to slather this over my feet before popping on socks and going to bed, it helps to keep my feet soft and less battered and abused from heavy boots. This is not something I have personally tried but I do know that 8 Hour Cream can be utilised as an express facial mask to hydrate and plump the skin. Not to mention it can also be used to slick down even the unruliest of brows or to moisturise a beard (yes really!). Essentially if you have dry and broken skin anywhere on your body Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream will come to your rescue.

One thing that is for sure is once you try Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream you will wonder how you have managed to live without it for so long, a strong claim I know but a product doesn't reach cult status by being mediocre.
