I'm guilty of stocking up on just about every beauty product and tool out there and yet I have a tendency to neglect the nail care aisle. It's always when you need a nail file to resolve a snagged nail that you rue the decision of skipping such section in the likes of Boots and Superdrug. If like myself you are keen on stepping up your nail care game let me introduce you to a few nail tools that have been more than helpful as of late!
Bruzz Hygienic Nail Brush £9.99 via Boots - link
Let's get real nails get dirty, especially if you have long nails! The Bruzz Hygienic Nail Brush is not only great for removing all trapped daily grime but generally polishing the nails and surrounding skin. As it is composed from flexible rubber it is safe to use on all types of nails and for that matter skin types too. The design may appear a little odd but it actually adds the whole process, simply insert a finger into the groove and rotate the brush manually for quick and effective results. Yes it is fairly expensive as far as nail brushes go but unlike traditional styles the bristles will not splay nor do they cling on to bacteria. It really is a clever little gadget.
Tweezerman Neon Nail Files £6 (pack of three) via Boots - link
Fun fact I can not stomach the thought nor sensation of using a glass nail file, I know fully well that such method is not only kinder to the nails and far more long lasting but yeah the idea of using a glass nail file leaves me feeling cold. It will go without saying that I do go through a lot of cardboard files for that reason, the thing with such style is that they can be really hit and miss. Typically speaking I would deem £6 to be fairly expensive for three nail files of this type but they really do get the job done. The Tweezerman Neon Nail Files are not flimsy in the slightest, quickly and easily shape the nails and let's face it generally look great. If like myself you prefer cardboard files over glass this is a brand to invest in.
Tweezerman Neon Hot File, Smooth, Buff & Shine Block £12 via Boots - link
This nifty little nail block not only files, smooths, buffs but also adds a sheen finish to the nails but actually features replaceable side panels. Much like the above nail files despite being constructed from cardboard and foam the Tweezerman Neon Hot File, Smooth, Buff & Shine Block is not only gentle but also effective. If you are new to at home manicures this tool quickly guides you through the whole process: the pink side is to file and shape, the orange side to buff, the green to smooth and lastly the yellow to shine. In my opinion every nail kit needs this tool.

I've just had some gel nails removed and they've left my nails in really condition. Been looking for something that will smooth the surface of them, and the tweezerman block looks brilliant! Thanks!

I’m exactly the same when it comes to nails and hands to think of it! I shellac my nails and then leave them be. I wasn’t really aware that Tweezerman did nail products.
