New Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream

New Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream

Loyal Clinique fans will more than likely be familiar with Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+? Heck I'm sure we all know at least one person with a bottle in their bathroom? Well the famous yellow lotion now has a sister product in the form of the newly launched Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream (it pains me to spell moisturising with a "z" as a Brit).

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream has been created to not only nourish and hydrate dry complexions but also protect from environmental aggressors such as pollution, stress and allergens. It has been formulated to achieve advanced moisturisation (the aim is to help the skin retain moisture) and strengthen the skins natural barrier for healthier and younger looking skin. This is achieved by Clinique's "Sensational Six" ingredients: Sunflood Seed Cake, Barely Extract and Cucumber Fruit Extract to strengthen the skin's moisture barrier and Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin and Dimethicone to provide long term and intensive hydration.

As this has only just newly launched I am only getting to grips with the formula and texture so I won't pretend I have thoroughly tested Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream as of yet. What I can say is that it is unscented much like all of Clinique's skin care line, it is thicker in texture compared to the Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ yet doesn't at all feel heavy nor uncomfortable on the skin - if anything I would deem it to be more luxurious. Much like the lotion based Clinique Dramatically Different counterpart it is quickly absorbed, it does seem to instantly hydrate, refresh and in my case calm my skin. I'd imagine that this will be more apt for those with drier complexions due to the richer texture, from an oily gal's stance so far it doesn't seem to overwhelm my skin but then again it is very early on to say that for sure.

What I can say is that if you enjoy the original Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+ but would rather have a cream texture, be it for dry skin or luxury then I highly doubt Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream will disappoint.

I will update with a full review in a month or so, until then you can find Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream (50ml/£25) via Clinique - link.

  3. This sounds really nice for dry or mature skins who need to change it up but are loyal to the original. I'd love to try this.

  8. I'm going to try it this month! It looks promising and I really need a good moisturizer for winter, because it's autumn already and my skin is crying for moisture. :) Great review, I only miss the list of ingredients, other than that, it's a lovely review! Have a nice day whoever reads this.
