I am the least Zen like person you will meet, I am forever in a tizzy and would describe myself as flustered at best. Typically I like fragrances that are punchy, bold and in your face - I seldom purchase light, airy florals and yet I have fallen hard for Gucci Bamboo Eau de Parfum. The latest fragrance launch from the brand has been inspired by a line of Gucci accessories and is said to be modern, feminine, gentle and multi-faceted - all of which I would agree with and would say the bulky yet clean bottle reflects this beautifully so.
"Strong and graceful, one of Gucci’s most recognizable design signatures has defined references in today’s Gucci woman. Bamboo flourishes in extreme conditions. Its natural strength compares to steel. Slender and elegant, bamboo soars willowy over other vegetation. The modern Gucci woman shares bamboo’s characteristics. She balances strength and confidence with her innate femininity.. Like bamboo, she is an alluring mix of many sides."
Believe it or not like most I don't find fragrance reviews all that helpful but I do have a whale of a time writing them. To make deciding if this is a scent you would be interested in testing let me share a few "similar" fragrances. I would say that the closest counterpart would be DKNY Pure Eau de Toilette. I would however urge all those that enjoy Dolce & Gababana Dolce Eau de Parfum and Burberry Body Eau de Parfum to sniff this out too as they share both similar notes and general vibe.
All in all Gucci Bamboo Eau de Parfum is a great everyday, suit all occasion scent that is never offensive nor overpowering and is the perfect white floral that I think most will enjoy.
