St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan

I feel a little like the Karate Kid when using the new St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan - wax on, wax off! Only it is rub on and shower off, to create a natural sun kissed glow. Oddly St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan doesn't fall into the too good to be true category, rather it is the perfect self tanning option for those on the look out for a quick and fool proof way to achieve bronzed skin.

Application is a breeze: simply pop under the shower and cleanse the skin as normal, step out from the shower and apply St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan all over the body (this is not intended for the face), in the same way you would any self tanner or body lotion. I personally like to use a tanning mitt for application to avoid streaking and staining the palms of my hands. My main problem is application to my back, running through the house in nothing but a towel to find a helper isn't always ideal or an option. The only real downside is that you do have to stand around (in the buff no less) for three minutes for St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan to work its magic. Once the time has elapsed you simply rinse the skin with warm water (no soap, so do wash your hair before using this), dry and dress as normal. It doesn't mention online or on the bottle but I'd imagine body moisturising is also a no go.

In my opinion St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan does have a typical self tan scent - a little floral (like baby wipes) to begin with and then while developing it does somewhat have that warm, almost biscuit like fragrance. On the upside, as you do rinse it off it isn't as offensive as other self tanners but be warned there is a definite pong of self tanner after use. For that reason alone I do apply at night so I can shower with a fruity scented shower gel the following morning.

St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan is of course a gradual tanner meaning that the results are not instantaneous and somewhat dependant on your natural skin tone. It took five days of continuous application before I noticed a light tan developing. Light is definitely the key word here, if you live in fear of self tanners turning you orange then this is a safe bet. Serious tanners could use St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan in conjunction with other self tanners to maintain a certain level of bronze. As an added bonus as this is a wash off cream formulation it does not dry the skin out which can sometimes be a problem, especially with mousse self tanners.

At £14.50 this is not the cheapest gradual tanner out there but it is one of those few novelty products that delivers all it claims to and more. If you are pushed for time, or simply wary of the self tanning process this is the one for you.
