With the recent bout of warm weather (long may it continue), you may find yourself caught short in terms of sunscreen. In an ideal world we'd all not only remember to apply sunscreen daily but also have space in our handbags for a mini tube of SPF to tackle any emergencies. As that is not a viable option for everyone, may I recommend Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense Stick for Face SPF 50 High Protection.
This nifty yellow stick not only protects the skin from harmful UVA/UVB rays but also moisturises, repairs and soothes in one quick step. I hasten to add that the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense Stick for Face SPF 50 High Protection is a balm so not everyone will enjoy the texture which is a little heavy and of course wax based. I do find that I am more at home applying the Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense Stick to my lips, however that's not to say that if out and about I wouldn't apply it to my face because I would. I'd rather grin and bear a somewhat balmy texture on my face than damage and burn my skin, as I'm sure most would an SPF factor of 50 is not to be sniffed at. It also doesn't hurt that other than a slight sheen on the surface of the skin this is completely traceless - no tint but in some instances it will remove make-up if applied on top.
To apply you simply, twist up the balm and slick wherever you need protection and/or relief. In case you are unaware Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is a medicated balm that can pretty much applied anywhere - face and body (this stick is no different), to quickly soothe, repair broken and irritated skin. With that in mind Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense Stick is nothing short of genius, not only will it protect the skin but should you experience sunburn it will quickly take the sting out of the burn, prevent peeling and of course prevent the problem from further escalating.
Every pocket, bag, car and office drawer needs a tube of Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Sun Defense Stick, it really is as simple as that.

This sounds fantastic, I find creams too heavy on me but balms are a nourishing dream - will have to scour it out!

I must admit, I am more prone to digging through my bag for my 3 year old sons leftover Ambre Solaire factor 50. Cheaper and i'm a firm believer that if something has been designed for children, it has been tested out 10x more than any adult product... plus its about 1/4 of the price lol.
