Grooming - Dolce & Gabbana Intenso Pour Homme

Dolce & Gabbana Intenso Pour Homme

Slowly but surely I am trying to add a grooming aspect to The Sunday Girl, as of next month there will be a male contributor, until then I am afraid you will put up with my musings on male fragrance. Sometimes we are all looking for a female opinion so perhaps it isn't that bad after all?

With Father's Day just around the corner the majority of us will be on the look out for a delightful gift? One of my top recommendations has to be Dolce & Gabbana Intenso Pour Homme, a refined yet slightly rugged fragrance that will appeal to most - much like the campaign front man Colin Farrell.

Dolce & Gabbana Intenso Pour Homme is labelled as woody yet aromatic scent that is both clean yet robust and warm thanks to the carefully selected notes: basil, lavender, tobacco coupled with sandalwood and cypress. In my opinion it is one of the few male fragrances that will be just as at home on a young man as it would a more distinguished gentleman. It is strong yet not overpowering and equally suited to the workplace as it is leisure.

I have been known to wear men's cologne (my personal favourite is D&G Light Blue Volcano) but would say this one is best left to the men within your life. As mentioned above this would make an ideal luxe gift for Father's Day which is June 21st in the UK this year.

Dolce & Gabbana Intenso Pour Homme £68/75ml via Debenhams - link.
