Every now and then a collection comes along and suddenly I don't want something, I need it. Recently that has applied to Dior Nude Tan Tie Dye Blush in Coral Sunset. As soon as I saw it on social media channels, long before it's scheduled release date I made a mental note to purchase it as soon as I could. It goes without saying that purchase it is exactly what I did and I couldn't be happier. Beautiful blushes aside this is a wonderful collection with plenty of other great products including an array of lip colours.
Dior Nude Tan Tie Dye Blush in Coral Sunset
Let's begin with the show stopper shall we? A huge multi-coloured pan of blush that features an array of peach, pink and light tones that come together to create the most beautiful bright peach. From the packaging, to the embossed design, right down to the dinky brush that comes with Dior Nude Tan Tie Dye Blush in Coral Sunset - it all screams luxurious. At £40 it better had be! Admittedly it is not the most pigmented blush I own but it is a delight to apply and wear - the semi sheer formulation allows the users natural skin tone to somewhat shine through, making the shade more universal. If you are a fan of MAC Ripe Peach and want a blush somewhat similar in tone this is the one. Although not identical I would say very similar - almost neon peaches that work well with tanned and pale skin alike. In terms of wear although not the most pigmented it does wear rather well, I get around seven hours of flawless wear application and it does not settle into my enlarged pores. The semi matte finish is both flattering and illuminating - basically this is the blush to beat this summer.
Dior Addict Lipstick- Tie Dye Edition
With the warmer weather on the way the majority of us will be on the look out for lighter lipstick formulations. I can not recommend the new Dior Addict - Tie Dye Edition Lipsticks (£22.95 each) enough. I like to think of them as lipsticks come lip balms. They slick on with ease, moisturising and adding both a slick of colour and gloss in one quick sweep. They are comfortable, nourishing and frankly feel wonderful on the lips. To the best of my knowledge there are six new and limited edition shades with Dior of the Addict Lipstick formula within the Tie Dye collection. Each lipstick is really two shades in one - at the centre of each lipstick is the Dior logo which is a different shade from the main lipstick bullet. It is pretty novel and adds a little dimension to each shade. The two Tie Dye shades I own are: 002 Coral Trip which is a light and red based coral, as it is fairly sheer it works with your own lip colour rather than masking it. I also own 006 Nude Fever which is a light and neutral toned nude that should suit most due to it's sheer qualities. Think of these as high end lip butters that will keep your lips in tip top condition all the while tinting as they go.
If you are in the market for a super glossy and beyond pigmented lip gloss, look no further than the limited edition shades of Dior Addict Fluid Stick. You don't know what glossy is until you try this formulation out, unlike traditional lip gloss this is beautifully pigmented, non-sticky, nourishing and fairly long wearing (up to two hours per application). I have the shade Plasir which is a bright, blue based shocking pink that will look wonderful teamed with bronze tones in the Summer months yet will cross over into the colder seasons with ease too. I don't normally rate lipglosses but this is one to try.
It goes without saying, the one product I can not urge you enough to try is the new Dior Nude Tan Tie Dye Blush in Coral Sunset - however the rest of the collection more than delivers too. Easily one of my favourite collections of the year thus far.
