A High End Haul

It's times like this when I have what most would deem a haul, that I really do think I should take the leap and cross over onto Youtube. Until that day comes I am afraid you will have to put up with my galling babblings in text form. It has been a while since I purchased anything make-up wise, nothing was really calling to me and nothing needed replacing resulting in a happy bank balance. Then I found myself shopping with friends, three days consecutively - as you are about to find out self control is not my strong point.

A High End Haul

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II
This is the elixir I can not be without, I use it nightly and swear by it - technically I still have a week or so worth of uses left in my current bottle but thought I'd be best to repurchase while I remembered. There are very few products that I will pay in the region of £80 for but Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair II (from £49) is the exception, they do not call it a good night sleep for no apparent reason. If I could only own one skin care product it would be this.

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Complex
I own the serum version of this product and really enjoy it, as I am obsessed with eye cream I quickly told the sales assistant to wrap this up to go and winced at the price tag. Hopefully it will work as well as the other two products within Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair collection - I shall keep you posted on my journey with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Eye Complex (£40).

NARS Dual Intensity Blushes
Here is where I went a little overboard, purchasing not one but three colour ways, I had a little birthday money burning a whole in my pocket and decided to take the splurge. At £30 per palette they are far from cheap but you do get two shades, each of which is more beautiful than the last. If you enjoy gelee based blushes or highlighters this should be your next purchase. I settled on the duo's in the following shades: Fervor - a light peachy pink coupled with a rust based bronze, Jubilation - a light peachy gold with a bright yellow gold, these are more highlighters than blushes. Lastly I have Panic which is a must for anyone who is a fan of bright cheek colours - one hot pink and one bold orange. I am in love and can not wait to type up a full post dedicated to the beauty that is NARS Dual Intensity Blushes. I purchased these for £30 each via Space.NK - link.

A High End Haul

MAC Auburn Lip Liner
If like myself you are a little fed up of MAC Spice Lip Liner forever being out of stock but want a deep, slightly ruddy red toned lip liner look no further than MAC Auburn Lip Liner (£12.50). No it isn't the current en Vogue shade nor does it have the Kylie Jenner seal of approval but it is great, neutral everyday shade.

MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation
Can you believe a MAC addict such as myself has never tried the iconic MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation (£21.50)? No me neither but I have finally took the plunge. I'm hoping this offers full coverage all the while being comfortable - my skin doesn't always enjoy MAC foundation so this somewhat a gamble. Foolishly I forgot to purchase the matching pump, any excuse to go back to MAC eh?

MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Powder Foundation
I haven't bought MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Powder Foundation (£21.50) in the longest while but it is a great product for creating flawless coverage. The idea is that you use this in place of traditional liquid foundation, I use it as pressed powder. Admittedly it can look a little full on but it is great for a night out and oddly photographs really well too. If you prefer a more natural approach I would skip this or use as intended of course.

Have you treated yourself to anything nice in the past few days.
Don't worry my bank card is back in the freezer - this would perhaps be more effective if I didn't know all the numbers off by heart. Ten points for trying Adrienne.
