Superdrug Beauty Points Haul

Over the last year I have somehow collected £25 worth of Superdrug Beauty Points, I guess it should come at no real surprise given how much time and money I spend within my local beauty halls. As I am now on a self imposed spending ban, I decided to finally use my Superdrug Beauty Points for a little splurge on less than necessary products and here is what I purchased...well of sorts.

I know what you are thinking, why the need for four toners? Well I am on a mission to find a great everyday yet budget friendly toner. Yes it will take me a while to get around to testing all four but as the majority happened to be on offer (under £3 each) I thought why not. First up we have Nivea Pure & Natural Cleansing Toner  (£3.25/200ml) which I think may be a gentler version of Micellar Water to some extent? With the warmer weather hopefully on the way I am mostly in the market for something refreshing hence my next three choices: Superdrug Simply Pure Refreshing Toner (£2.69/200ml), Garnier Refreshing Toner  (£2.10/200ml ) and lastly Superdrug Vitamin E Refreshing Toning Mist (£2.99/150ml) - which I think may be the best choice for on the go? I will of course update on my findings in the coming weeks.

As I am obsessed with Vitamin E based products I wanted to use this opportunity to try out a few other of Superdrug's own brand range. For those days when I don't have the time or patience to moisturise my body, I am hoping Superdrug Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser (£2.99) will be a great alternative. It promises to cleanse and nourish my body in one quick step - here's hoping! I also purchased Superdrug Vitamin E Eye Cream which is pretty similar to the Body Shop version only marginally cheaper, annoyingly this is not online but it was less than £5. Speaking of eye cream I also purchased (of sorts) the Superdrug BB Eye Cream in Light (£3.48) which promises not only to nourish, protect but also disguise dark circles. I was alerted in a previous post that Superdrug Restoring Skin Care Oil  (£5.69) is a dupe for Bio Oil only more budget friendly, I of course snatched up a bottle to try out. I will let you know how I get on in a few weeks - so far I can't say I am all that impressed at this point. Lastly and perhaps a little out of character for me, I added a pack of cleansing wipes to my basket - the Superdrug Micellar Cleansing Facial Wipes (£1.29) aren't like any other in fairness. They are far softer, wetter and gentler on the skin. I only bought them for keeping in my handbag for emergences but I don't feel as guilty reaching for them as they are rather wonderful. Do I use them in place of regular cleansing? Heck no but I have been enjoying them none the less.

It is pretty impressive how far £25 goes in Superdrug isn't it. If you haven't already signed up for a Superdrug Beauty Card do it now (here -link), you will be surprised at just how quickly the points mount up.
