Admittedly I can be more than a little lazy when it comes to applying body moisturiser, I do begin with all the best intentions in the world but sometimes you just want to get dressed. I know you hear me? Last year was the boom of in shower moisturisers - a shower cleanser come skin hydrant, a great idea in theory but not all that well conducted in practice. I have tried many out of laziness and of course curiosity and who would have known that the best I would find would be an in house brand and cost less than £3. Yes Superdrug Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser is the best and quickest way to quickly add a dose of hydration to your skin with minimal effort.
To use you simply apply to wet skin after you have scrubbed down with your regular shower gel, massage in and rinse off. It really is as easy as that. It may seem a little gimmicky but I promise you it more than delivers, not to mention it is packed with natural Vitamin E which can help to protect against environmental damage and improve the skin's texture. The base of Superdrug Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser is of course skin nourishing shea butter which also lends its scent to the product, Superdrug have coupled shea butter not only with Vitamin E but also chestnut extract to soothe, nourish and hydrate dried out skin.
Application is a little bizarre at first as it does somewhat feel like you are washing with body lotion, once you get over that initial hump, it is nothing but a pleasant experience. Does the Superdrug Vitamin E Shower Moisturiser deliver the same results as a body butter or oil? No but I doubt anyone expected quite that, on the plus side it does leave the skin far softer and supple than it would should you skip moisturising full stop. I use it daily within my morning shower and consider it to be a great time saver making it perfect for those strapped for time or even for your gym bag? At less than £3 you can't afford not to pick up one for stashing in your shower caddy!

For £3 it sounds like a good extra moisturisation step. I know for me, as someone with very dry skin, I am always looking for ways to top up my skin so it isn't tight and dry-feeling.

I really like this too, some days I'm just not in the mood to apply moisturiser and wait for it to absorb! (:

I was nodding my head when you were saying about when you can't be bothered to apply body lotion - I am the same! I may have to try this as it would be a total steal for me at that price!
