Jo Malone Scented Wedding Collection

Jo Malone Scented Wedding Collection

No I'm not getting married, heck I don't even have a boyfriend so the pretty Pinterest boards will have to wait for now. If you are saying your "I do's" later this year then the new Jo Malone Scented Wedding Collection may be just what you are looking for. Commencing in May is the Jo Malone Lace Bottle collection; 10 of the brand's best loved fragrances presented in an hand etched glass bottle. A craftsman painstakingly adorns each flagon with a delicate lace design by hand. The finished bottles truly are a work of art and couldn't be more perfect as a wedding day gift or of course just to treat yourself - either way they are something that all Jo Malone collectors will adore, be they a bride to be or not.

As mentioned there are 10 scents to choose from: Peony & Suede Blush, Orange Blossom, Red Roses, English Pear & Freesia, Lime Basil & Mandarin, Nectarine Blossom & Honey, Wild Bluebell, Pomegranate Noir, Velvet Rose & Oud and Dark Amber & Ginger Lily. Once you have narrowed down your choice you then have the option of three lace designs to decorate your keep safe bottle. For Brides to be wouldn't Wild Bluebell be the perfect choice as your something blue?  If I was to get married I would chose that is exactly what I would choose as my wedding day scent and as my something blue. In an ideal world I would gift all my bridesmaids the same scent - again I am getting a little ahead of myself here. Oddly this is the scent that I was gifted, a light, fresh floral that is slightly aquatic and will combine well with any other fruit or floral based Jo Malone Cologne.

The Jo Malone Scented Wedding Collection taps beautifully into recollection - the idea that a scent can transport you back to a moment in time, re-capturing a feeling even if just for a split second or two. As I have said above you don't have to a bride to be to enjoy this collection, perhaps one of the 10 selected scents happens to be your signature fragrance and you simply want a decorative bottle. Either way the workman ship that has went into the design is fascinating - it is so intricate that I am in awe each time I glance at my bottle. A beautiful gift to have, to give and to receive.

The Jo Malone Scented Wedding Lace Bottle Collection will launch this coming May and cost £86/100ml each.
