Origins Facial Brush

Origins Facial Brush

Now this is a case of coming soon, a teaser if you will but a product I feel many of us can not only get behind but excited about too. I am almost certain that the Origins Facial Brush has been included in Origins Gift Sets in the past, much like it is exclusive to a few of the current Origins Mothers Day Gift Sets; well the good news is that it will be able to purchase individually very, very soon. If that doesn't put a smile on your face then the £5 price tag may just be enough to sway you?

Manual facial brushes aren't anything new, far from it but with the fairly recent arrival of electronic facial cleansing devices such as the Clarisonic et al I have noticed the prices slowly creep up. I truly expected the Origins Facial Brush to cost much more than £5, nope and kudos to the brand for not only seeing the gap in the market but making such tool affordable.

Essentially the Origins Facial Brush is a soft, hand held brush that is fairly small in size which is not at all a criticism. I rather like that it is both dinky and soft, the size means I can easily target the areas I want to gently exfoliate and the soft bristles do not further irritate my acne/inflamed skin. If you find facial scrubs to be irritating and/or don't want to splash out on an expensive electric facial brush this is what you have been waiting for. Used with your normal cleanser this gently removes any dead and dry skin cells gently revealing brighter skin. As the bristles are so soft, I'd say it is almost impossible to over do it - great if you are heavy handed like myself! It also cleans up beautifully which is not something I can say for all cleansing brushes. I also like that it has a nifty cap to keep the bristles clean when not in use.

At a mere £5 you owe it to yourself to give this a whirl when it launches later this Spring.

  5. Very glad to hear that the bristles are soft - the fear of stripping my skin is what keeps me from trying an electronic face brush. Great review!

  7. This is such good value! I love my electronic cleansing brush but this would be a great alternative to have somewhere like my mum's house if I'm ever staying over.

  13. I like the idea of a manual brush to be honest - my Clarisonic charger has packed in and I'm really begrudging having to buy another one when the device is so expensive to begin with! xx

  14. I can't believe how cheap this is from a brand like Origins, I really would have expected it to be something along the lines of £12. Well done to them for making it so affordable, I think it might even be cheaper than Soap and Glory's version x
