As so many of us are Lush fans I thought I'd share a similar brand that offers lots of bath and body products, along with home fragrance. If you are not familiar with Bomb Cosmetics I urge you to visit their site and perhaps treat yourself to an indulgent bath product or two, I personally recommend the candles. If you are stuck for some recommendations here is what is new for the brand this Spring...
Bomb Cosmetics Vanilla Honey Lazy Days Candle £7.99 - link
As with all Bomb Cosmetics candles this comes beautifully packaged, various tones of yellow wax scented with a mild, milky sweet honey and vanilla fragrance. I'm not a huge a fan of honey scents in general but this is rather pleasant - the vanilla note prevents it from becoming too sickly sweet. A great mellow home scent that will last for hours on end.
Bomb Cosmetics Peppermint Patch Soap 100g/£2.50 - link
A fresh, cooling mint scented soap that will wake and revive even the deepest of sleepers come their morning shower. Bomb Cosmetics Peppermint Patch Soap is not recommended for use on the face rather it is best used as a hand soap or as an alternative to shower gel. It is a mild formula that will not strip the skin of its natural moisture yet is deeply cleansing.
Bomb Cosmetics Summer Cherry Soap 100g/£2.50 - link
Identical in formula to the soap above only with a different design and scent. If like myself you enjoy fruity fragrances, particularly cherry scents then this is the soap for you. It is bright, uplifting and very sweet - a beautiful feminine fragrance.
Bomb Cosmetics Distant Shores Cocoa Swirl £2.99 - link
A hybrid product - a bath fizzer/bomb that gentle fragrances and tints the water, all the while releasing a trail of indulgent cocoa and shea butter behind to soften and moisturise the skin. If you have dry skin or perhaps just want to nourish your body while you bath this should be the next bath treat you purchase. In terms of scent thanks to the notes of pineapple and coconut, combined with the coco butter this smells exactly like sun tan lotion - a great form of escapism when the weather is less than favourable. Unlike your typical bath bomb this can be reused up to three times!
Bomb Cosmetics Fairytale Fantasy Bath Blaster £2.29 - link
Not only is this bath bomb beautifully designed and very aptly named but it smells wonderful - like Bulgarian rose. It contains notes of pure Rosemary and Cedarwood essential oils along with natural butters to both scent and soothe the skin. Once in the water this fizzes like crazy, gently tinting the water a pretty pink and softening as it goes. A beautiful treat for young and old(er) princesses alike ha!
Bomb Cosmetics Over the Rainbow Bath Blaster £2.29 - link
One of the most intricately designed bath bombs I have ever seen, not only does this feature a mini rainbow but also glitter a plenty. This is sure to brighten up even the dullest of days with uplifting notes of Jasmine and Clary Sage essential oils which are again combined with natural butters to keep the skin soft and supple. A great gift for anyone a little under the weather or even just to cheer yourself up!
Have you tried Bomb Cosmetics?
What are your thoughts?
I'm not really a bath bomb person (I don't think I've had a bath in years, I usually have quick showers haha), but I'd definitely peruse their site just to check out the candles, the vanilla honey one sounds gorgeous.

I love their designs - they are very Lush-esque though.

Love them and I personally prefer them to Lush, which is saying something as I love Lush too. Unfortunately the brand isn't as commonly-sold, and the place that sold them locally has now gone out of business recently.

I'm definitely going to try out Bomb Cosmetics soon. They sell it at Webbs (a rather large garden centre turned gift shop, not sure if they are nation-wide or not!) so I'm going to get some bath bombs, soaps and some wax melts :) x
ReplyDeleteELEANORMAES
We have one of their shops in Durham and I absolutely love their soaps and bath bombs - especially as they're cruelty free!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite is the one that smells like baby powder - such a calming smell at such a great price (:

I'm a huge fan of Bomb Cosmetics. They have such nice gift sets and I once got a christmas candle from there and honestly it was so nice. You can get some really fab, cheaper gift sets on Amazon from them from time to time. They are quite cheap compared to Lush too x
