The Body Shop Eye Cream Haul

I am obsessed with eye cream, I purchase more eye cream than I do food. Well maybe not but you get where I am going with this. I am still fairly young (in my twenties) but I prescribe to the prevention is better than a cure mantra - I apply eye cream as I often as I do hand cream all in the hope of keeping my eye area as young looking as possible for a long as possible.

Yesterday I popped into The Body Shop for a general snoop and ended up purchasing three new eye creams - 3 for 2's that's how they get you. If like myself you have fairly young skin or are new to eye cream in general I think my below selections may be of interest?

The Body Shop Eye Cream Haul

The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream £12/15ml
From what I have learned in store this is a gentle eye cream for those who are experiencing the first signs of ageing - it is generally suggested 25+ but if you are a sun worshipper or have a tendency to squint into the sun etc then you may want to use it sooner rather than later. In my opinion The Body Shop Nutriganics Smoothing Eye Cream is the perfect night and day option, it smooths, soothes and hydrates as well as helping to prevent future ageing. I will update with a full review in a month or so but I do think this is great value for £12.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Eye Cream £11/15ml
For the longest time this was my go to eye cream, it nourishes the gentle skin around the eyes, de-puff's and can help prevent the appearance of fine lines. Somewhere along the lines I forgot to re-purchase and flirted with other lotions and potions, I am excited to give this a whirl again and see if the love is still there. If the formula remains the same (I have yet to put it to the test) this is one of the few eye creams that I recommend to all - delicate enough for young complexions yet it has the intensity that maturer skins can appreciate.

The Body Shop Aloe Eye Defence £11/15ml
I might as well state that this will not be used at all for the next month or so, once the pollen count goes up this is when I will dig it out of my stash. Essentially The Body Shop Aloe Defence is a light silky serum which has been created to hydrate dry yet stressed out skin. If you find eye cream in general leaves your eye area irritated and/or streaming with tears then this could be what you have been looking for. I was also told that it can be used as a barrier against pollen to prevent irritation which is the may reason I purchased it in anticipation of the upcoming Spring. I will of course keep you posted in the coming months if that does happen to be true.

Have you tried any of the above?
